BEST Roofing & Waterproofing

My new roof looks great. Everything pretty much went as expected. Had a yard light crushed during tear-off, and my entryway fountain ended up with a lot of debris and roofing rocks in it. A couple of nails through the edge metal and a roofline edge that did not get trimmed. Pretty much small stuff. The overall workmanship was excellent. Communication was kept to the absolute bare minimum. Mostly just emails. I never did end up meeting with the actual contractor. The crew they sent out was professional, respectful, and easy to talk with. I was very happy dealing with them. I had a few things that ended up not being replaced, fireplace vent flashing and a furnace flashing along with some other flashing material, as well as multiple bundles of material that was not needed. I ended up being billed for these items. No adjustment to the original price. An itemized final bill would have been nice. In the end, I am satisfied with the overall results. If my neighbors need a roof replaced, I will recommend BEST Roofing to them.

Best Roof Repair responded to a request for bids on a roof repair to my home. The damage was not huge, but after a tree fell on the corner of the roof in a wind storm there were several tears and punctures on the shingles. I wanted to repair the damage to prevent future water damage if water seeped through the tears to the subroof. Best responded to the request relatively quickly given the very busy roofing season. They scheduled an inspection, arrived when scheduled, conducted the inspection, and within 48 hours provided a bid. I also went through this process with another company. Best provided a bid for a repair to the area of damage, which was only about a 4 square foot area, plus caulking of 2 pipes. The other company indicated they only did repairs on an entire side of a roof, at a minimum of $3000. I opted to go with Best and once I signed the contract they ordered shingles to match my existing roof. I was anxious to get the repair completed as I had an upcoming surgery. Knowing this they emailed me on a weekend to let me know the shingles had arrived and scheduled the repair for the following Monday morning. The repair team actually showed up a little early, and had the repair completed in about an hour. They cleaned up after the job. The shingles they used were a decent match to my existing roof, and the repair looks good. I am very pleased with the way the staff responded quickly to my request, worked me into their schedule more quickly than any other company, and completed the repair before my surgery. All in all I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing a roof repair.

Weâ d had a persistent leak from our roof that multiple companies had tried to fix without success. We finally decided to just go all in and get a new roof. We were worried weâ d have to take what we could get, given how busy companies are and wanting to get the new roof ASAP, but we were really, really lucky to find BEST. Their communication was great, the crew was easy to have around (friendly and courteous), and they were always there on time, working hard, and taking the time to do things right. Canâ t recommend them enough!

The crew was professional, hard working, polite and friendly. After waterproofing the roof they ended up putting on the shingles in the pouring rain and wind. They cleaned up well after finishing. I have no complaints!

Our project was actually a combination of repair and installation which isn't an option in the drop-down above. Anyway, a tree fell on our house during a storm damaging the roof. Had them come out to patch and as the entire roof was in need of replacement asked them to prepare a bid. They won out over competitors bids based on price and their squeaky clean CCB license. After some weather related delays, they were in and out in 3 days which to me seemed exemplary. The foreman, Alex, was super to work with and very patient answering all my questions. The owner, Jason, who came out several times to check on the project was also great to work with. Very personable and communicative. When all was said and done, the roof looks great, does not appear to leak and they were very conscientious about clean-up. I recommend them and would hire them again in a heartbeat.

They did a great job of communicating, usually with minutes of me emailing them. Some of crew didn't speak much English but always one guy that could communicate with me. Only a couple of problems: they left tools propped out front against our garage door which I felt the need to cover up with a tarp, and sure enough, one worker had a back pack stolen from that area after leaving it there overnight. The roof looks good, shingles are as ordered and is working well. The whole roof was replaced in 3 days including cleanup which was quite thorough. Done in October, finished just before torrential rain. Competitive price. The other problem is that modern code requires longer nails so some nails are poking through our eave area and our attic area above the garage due the the thin roof wood, but that isn't something they could avoid. Very satisfied.
