Our family of five was outgrowing our home, so we decided to finish two basement rooms. From day one, Moogie felt like family. She listened carefully to our vision, offered great design suggestions, communicated constantly, and was always available to answer questions—even on weekends. The project was completed in about six weeks, and her dedication was incredible. She kept us informed every step of the way and ensured everything was done right. The finished rooms exceeded our expectations and have completely transformed our home. One of my favorite features is the stunning matching barn door and closet door in the bedroom. Moogie also turned a difficult window area into a beautiful seating nook, showcasing her talent for transforming challenges into standout design features.

I love my kitchen remodel!! Avenir Kitchen and Bath made my wishes a reality. I felt like part of the team planning the design. Beautiful, practical suggestions were given that enhanced my vision. Every step of the construction was supervised, checked and communicated daily. Specific skilled tradesmen were used for each category of work. We chose Moogie and she transformed our Master bath and kitchen, from a dream to reality in a timely fashion. We are extremely pleased with our new bathroom! We worked with Ms Kennedy to create a clean, modern design in a small space and a very old building. She managed the project beautifully.

We were referred to Moogie by neighbors who were very happy with the remodeled bath she did recently. She consulted with us and asked all the right questions and is very pragmatic. Before we even started the design and permit process she wanted to check on the ventilation requirements for the powder room we wished to install. Unfortunately we could not meet DC building regulations in the space we wanted to use without this becoming a substantially bigger and more expensive project which would involve redoing our master bath as well. We are disappointed but grateful to Moogie for doing that research at the outset, saving us a lot of time and money. We would certainly go to Moogie again if we had a different project.

Avenir Kitchen and Bath made a wonderful kitchen renovation. From an old original Formica seventies kitchen to an up to date cabinets and countertops. Beautiful new wood flooring, bright lighting and kitchen window.

Using Avenue Kitchen and Bath was a great decision. Moogie designed a wonderful bathroom. Her design made the space feel bigger. She worked hard to make sure I was informed and happy with each step in the process. Moogie is very detailed oriented. She examined all the workmanship to make sure it was of high quality. I am very happy with the process and the finished product.

Moogie is very a talented engineer and designer who is super easy to work with. She is always on the job site to oversee the project - what I loved most about her is her attention to detail and attentiveness. We had specific ideas in mind for our remodel, she was there to guide us and always honored our choices. She kept us in the loop about everything, She has a vast knowledge of design and engineering - which was helpful considering we had 3 major renovations done at once. We love our new spaces!
