Poor communication between project manager and installers

Arizona Turf Professionals ROC#328529, is the company we selected after four quotes. Two did not meet the criteria...warranty and price. The other two definitely provided a great price but the product provided by Arizona Turf Professionals looks and feels like real Bermuda. We were surprised at how many products and the types of green or 'grade' of the grass blades were available. We decided to play it safe (and HOA approved) with the Bermuda. The other companies names for their products were variations of green colors and spec numbers. ATP's product is named Bermuda and when compared to our real but sad looking Bermuda turf was so close in color, it looked like the real stuff. Installation is a multi process effort and the team worked together with their respective tasks. It is not something simple as some might imagine...like rolling out turf carpet and nailing down. Much more than that AND more importantly, the ground must be dry and grass free. Turning off watering (in light of drought conditions and our ultimate decision to do this), grass removal and treatment, laying down gravel and sand, packing it with special equipment, weed fabric, turf rollout, nailing in place, silica sand disbursement (very important) and brushing this all out with another powerful tool made for a very professional job. The owner is rude and condescending. The entire process lacked communication. The installation was done wrong and sloppy. Every comment I made there was an excuse or unprofessional remark. I did not know they subcontract and that is my first issue. I should have asked before I signed the contract. We previously had turf and wanted to extend it out about 8 more feet. We spent days removing our concrete fire pit and hours removing the old turf. That new section was put together with 4 pieces and laid in the opposite direction. One piece is about an inch away from the other. I was told the seams should not touch. They then threw concrete at my house leaving a chunk of missing stucco. They told me to paint it. I asked them why they could not lay the turf down to where we would have only 3 sections; being as our yard is 45 feet long and the turf is 15 feet wide. I was told that would have made our bill much higher. Yet this was never discussed and I am not a professional but if you lay 15 feet, cut it, lay 15 feet, cut it, lay 15 feet, cut it... That would be the same square footage. They claim to also be a paver company and do not see any issue with the way the concrete was poured, gaps in the pavers, and the cracking of our existing paver. There are also visible indentations where you the seam is bulging. there was an excuse. They came back a second time and were short a foot of turf. So again it is puzzled together and now it is super bumpy underneath. I guarantee they did not level out the yard properly.
