I was very impressed with Greg and the work he performed to add more width to my driveway so that I could park all my 3 cars. He took the time to study the project with me, going over all the details. I wanted the work done in short notice, before the winter started, and he did everything to accommodate me. The work was executed very meticulously, with careful attention given to make sure that the foundation (i.e. gravel and sand) were firmly laid, and the height of the bricks were level with the existing driveway. He was also very easy to to get along and responded immediately when I had questions. And his charges were quite reasonable.

My experience with Greg Hoffman and Archemy could not have been any better. To start, he commenced the project on time and stuck to his schedule and completed the job in a timely fashion. He meticulously rebuilt the front porch (Trex decking and railing), installing posts, molding and additional support as required. It looks fantastic! No shortcuts, a professional job with amazing attention to detail. He consulted with me throughout the project when the inevitable issues arose to ensure he was delivering what I expected, allowing me to make the decisions. If you are seeking QUALITY work for a fair price, then Greg and Archemy is what you want. I intend to use Greg for future projects - I trust him to do the job right and complete it in a timely fashion.

From the time that Greg showed up to provide a quote for minor deck repair and staining I was impressed with his knowledge about the work that I was asking to be performed. Admittedly, I still held out for a couple of other quotes, but I ended up choosing Greg. I could hear in his words the kind of commitment he has for what he does, he takes pride in his workmanship. He did the job, but I had to endure his feeling like I was asking him to do more than what he agreed to do. Also, he perpetually complained about another customer and her expectations of him. In a couple of instances, he actually went above and beyond what we spoke about and agreed upon, but one of those efforts actually created a hardship for me. I had explained that he should have asked me first and I would have explained that I did not want that done and why. Looking at my deck now, a couple of weeks later, I can see that it could have been done better (e.g. the spindles sanded to get rid of the grainy look from having been power washed, there is an area that was missed during the staining process). Greg is very personable and seems like a nice guy, but in my estimation, he tries to use that to disarm the client ... like any salesperson. Ultimately, it seemed like he wanted to do as little as possible for the most amount of money he could get. His original quote was too high and I used other quotes to have him come down on his price. He did do that, which was good. Having said all of the aforementioned, I would still recommend his service to anyone in need of it. But you should know that you will have to motivate him to do just what he said he could/would do. He will try to fast talk you ... so listen well and if you hire him, you should monitor his work.

Greg and Walter did a great job priming and painting my deck and stairs. There were areas that required three coats of paint and Greg made sure the job was done right at no extra cost to me. I highly recommend Greg's service.

I feel that he does not hold to his obligations. He took on a job tath he was not qulaified to handle and he kepy destroying everything and he kept accusing me of wanting him to do more and more work. All i wanted was for him to fix what he damaged. He is registered under one name and goes out on the stated of NJ and used another name. Icon Construction and the company does not have Insurance

On time and got the job done right.

Greg did an excellent job with our deck. I'd recommend him to anyone who needs their deck fixed. He was flexible enough to arrange payments using credit cards as well and that meant a lot.
