I was taken advantage of when my ac was broke, and they sent a repairman who was actually a sales representative to fix the ac. Even after begging for a repair given that weather was in high 80s, he said there was no way to fix it. He said all the right things a salesman would say and made be believe there was nothing I could do but buy a new ac. Tried to sell me a $16974 furnace and ac, with a measly $3974 discount. Got a more trusted repairman who replaced the capacitor and cleaned the coils, costed me $125. AC is now functioning perfectly. I am very upset we had to go with my daughter and spend the night somewhere else due to Andy's Statewide sending an incompetent repairman. He tired scamming me by trying to take advantage of the situation, which was the temperature being close to 90 degrees. Everyone else I have called, have estimated under 10K for a replacement furnace and AC. It should be noted, I begged him to find a solution, but the issue was he refused to repair the AC and lied saying it wasn't repairable, and then without my knowledge disconnected my AC (which had been running, just not blowing cool air). If he did his job and looked in the AC unit, he would have seen the capacitor needed replacement. Or he did see and choose to commit fraud. I was guaranteed by a manager the next day I would not be charged for anything as well. Somehow this "repairman" took my credit card information and charged my Lowes card $6,500. I DID NOT authorize this. I DID NOT give him my credit card information. I was guaranteed by manager that I would not be charged, and I received no HVAC system to be charged this amount. I was told this after reporting this amount as fraud, that it was done by ARS also known as Andy's Statewide. I will be updating the Officer in charge of this case and requesting criminal charges to be pursued. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.
