Great quality and good price.
A+ on the design. Phillip designed it for our room perfectly and price was fair. This is about the only good thing I can think of to write. When we purchased on Jan. 7 2017 from Phillip was told 7 weeks, 4 weeks later Mia called to schedule stating 7 weeks. I guess the 7 weeks was after Mia finally felt like calling us, then still did not get until April. Installer showed up a week later than scheduled. Took 6 days to install it where should have been 2 due to coming late and leaving early everyday and was told normally 2 man job but only sent 1. We purchased our own mattress, we were told no thicker than 10". We did finally find one 10" thick but thought might be a little heavier (hybrid). We kept it in the package until the installer arrived to make sure it would work, he advised definitely would and that he would add an extra spring. Day installer finished the bed weight felt ok when dropping down. Next day I noticed it was quite heavier and my wife complained a bit too heavy for her to handle. After numerous calls to Mia she finally called back telling me it was not an approved mattress and they would charge me if she decided to send someone back out even though I kept it packaged for installers approval where could still return it, very snotty on the phone. Told her felt like it went out of adjust or it needed the extra spring installer said he was going to put in but didn't. I would understand if I just did a mattress without checking but installer insisted not an issue. After an email to Phillip, Mia agreed to send the installer back and scheduled a day. Of course on scheduled day called stating he could not make it and would be out on Monday, this went on for over 6 months on and off, scheduling a day then calling or texting cannot make it. Calls back to Mia were left unreturned. In Nov '17 called back again, was told Mia was out on medical leave and to call another gentleman. I contacted him and advised of the situation and also of a new one discovered. Mattress was 10", which was the advised thickness, but headboard is smashing its end when folded up. This gentleman stated he know what that was and will call back to schedule. This is the last we spoke to anyone. Numerous calls have been made since with no response. It is now June '18 I have given up, so we still have a Murphy bed that works but is difficult to open and close and a mattress that angles down on the end because of getting squeezed when closed. This Company has absolutely no clue what customer service is and apparently do not care about their customers at all.
Hired them with a deposit and a promise of 6 weeks delivery time. 4 months later the job was not complete. Blamed it on Hurricane Irma. The cabines were not built by Ambry but an outside source, which was confirmed by an installer. The parts didn't fit, the countertop didn't fit, if my husband didn't have the correct tools they would have been running back and forth to factory. Ask for a cabinet to hang clothing, and asked if there would be room for hangers, was told it would, well it didn't. They were not willing to correct the problem by building another cabinet, so I figured out how to use it with smaller hangers. Workers were good, but I thought they were stressed out because of all the adjustments that had to be made on the spot. I was sorry it turned out like this because I did like Mia and Philip. Family owned business, maybe not prepared for growth.
Job was supposed to be six to 8 weeks took 6 months. Once the job was finally completed, we realized that the cabinets were built by another company. Put together by Ambry. Parts didn't fit, the counter top didn't fit. If it wasn't that my husband had the tools to fix the problems, They would have made many trips back to the factory. I was really sorry because I liked Philip and Mia. All in all in looks like a nice room, but I would not hire Ambry again. I have used another company before and would go back to them again, much more professional.
Ambry has failed to deliver a timely product and quality installation, despite prompt payment and flexibility on our part. I would caution anyone considering this company for cabinet needs to do your own research. Our experience that started in June 2017, (and is still not complete) from design to installation has been extremely frustrating and nothing short of a huge disappointment. We have certainly not received the attention they promise.
They are a small builder in the area. We were doing a reservations of a property. They did a good job. I would use them again. They were competitive. Their responsiveness was very good.
On schedule, on budget.
