Bill was very friendly and knowledable. He initially talked us through several trouble shooting scenarios and then came out quickly when those things didnâ  t work. He took care of the problem, taught us a few things and cleaned up after himself. Happy to have a working gas fireplace!

Bill called me shortly after I sent out my request to home advisor. They came to work the second day. It turned out to be a touch project. The fireplace floor had to be removed and new 4-6'' of concrete footing was poured. Dave reinstalled fireplace brick in fireplace walls carefully like an artist. It took them extra long hours to complete the job, but they left a beautiful fireplace to me without asking for any extra money.

He was an hour late after we readjusted our schedules to be home when he said he'd arrive. He quoted us $140 for a full "chimney cleaning," which he said included cleaning everything out and fixing the issue of it not starting. He estimated 1.5 hours of work. He showed me how to light the pilot light, which I didn't know how to do, and that was valuable. But that was the entire issue. He didn't clean anything or do anymore work than that, but still charged me $140. Original quote: $140 for showing up on time and working for 1.5 hours. Actual price: $140 for being an hour late and working 15 minutes.

Bill called me within hours of my call into Servicemagic. He was able to give me a free estimate the same day and complete the work the next day. A previous estimate was 10 times higher than Bill's!! He saved me a lot of money and took the time to explain everything he was doing to me. He was excellent and I would use All Point Builders again. He was late but he called to keep me posted on the delays.
