I'm selling my house, and to pass inspection I hired All Complete Construction to fix a leaky bathroom stack . He did show up promptly to do the work, but all he did was smear some goop on the vent and charge me $250 for 10 minutes of work. I acknowledge that I did hire him knowing the cost, but I think that it was excessive for 10 minutes of work. I also asked him to estimate another project, installing concrete - filled tubes to serve as a foundation for my exterior stairs (the original builder apparently just dug a shallow hole and filled it with a shovel full of cement, not good enough for my buyer's home inspection). All Complete Construction never bothered to give me the estimate as they promised. That tells me they are unreliable. Finally (and worst of all), he drove his truck right onto my lawn leaving a deep, wide rut in it. There was no need to do so. I understand that at new construction job sites contractor's leave all sorts of ruts with their trucks, but not on an established lawn. No I wouldn't hire them again and if, after more than a week, they do call with an estimate, I'll turn them down.

We apologize for any misunderstanding. The job took between 45-55 minutes, and the technician had to climb a highly dangerous roof to stop the leak. The leak was stopped and professionally done for $250 only. There was an additional small repair that was done at no extra cost. Now as far as the estimate for the concrete work, I understand that your house was for sale and you need it done asap. In order for us to provide you with a fair estimate, we may take a couple days, especially for the type of work you requested.
