All American Basement Waterproofing

I can not speak higher of All American Waterproofing out of Wadsworth, Ohio! I live by the Wolf Creek Tavern in Norton’s loyal Oak & for the first time since moving in late 2001/early 2002 my basement suffered a massive flood August 8, 2023. Owner Mike Johns gave me his plan & the estimate. Other companies sent young people who never actually did the work and were basically just reinstalling what I already had downstairs. Mike had a much better plan, And I feel confident that I could finish my basement and it is never going to get wet again! I now have a sump pump in each corner of the basement, the sump pumps have secondary backup pumps, they have battery back ups in case the power goes out, all the pumps and all my downspouts all the way around the house are now dumped far from the house down by the road. Great work at a much lower price than the other companies for the same project. Crew was friendly, professional and informative about the project. Nick, Brandon and Tim did a great job in our basement installing the new drain channel, piping and wall barrier over the old somewhat moldy walls. Also repaired an old faulty sump pump drain outside the house that was causing poor drainage. Highly recommend All American.

Tyler, our salesman, was no nonsense. He came in, listened to what we were having issues with. Determined what he thought the cause was, didn't do a long crazy sales pitch, just took measurements and gave us the numbers. Quick, hassle free, felt honest.

We hired All American to install a new crock and sump pump in our basement. We paid the $300 deposit on the quote given by Dave. It took 3 weeks of messages and texts to get a call back from Mike to schedule. Once the tech came out to do the repair, he stated that the repair would not fix our problem so no repair was completed. I had to have an actual plumber come do the repair. After many texts/messages to Dave and Mike, I had to do a charge back on my credit card to get my deposit back. I was told repeatedly by Dave that Mike would call me/Cut a check/Refund my credit card, etc. No calls at all from Mike. Horrible, Horrible communication! I will say that the techs were very professional and Dave (the salesman) returned my texts/calls, but Mike, who I assume is in charge, would not respond.

Quality work at a good price. Very clear about what he wanted to do and why.
