Had 2-Heat Pump Systems inspected for their Spring cleaning. Service Tech was punctual and performed the inspections, cleaning and testing as I expected. Plan on using them again for the Fall Inspection.

Clear contact with the customer and "in plain English" explanation as to what they believe to be the problem. Seemed a little quick to suggest installing a new unit prior to giving less expensive options and giving a full explanation as to why a new unit was the solution. The last service technician (1 year ago) told me the unit was in excellent shape, replaced a small "fuse" and charged me the same price as this service.

I am sorry that you felt we were quick to suggest a new unit. As Jeff stated when he was at your home, your unit is using the old R22 refrigerant which started being phased out a few years ago. Jeff explained that your unit is leaking and low on R22 and we recommended filling it to help you keep cool until you could get a new unit. We then provided a quote on a new unit.
