I called five different concrete companies. John Henry was the best and best priced. His crew got to the job on time and finished in time. He would text me progress as he went as we were gone on a trip. He came back on a Saturday to clean up and make sure everything was in great order. Just Awesome.

It's not possible to overstate how well John Henry and the crew of Affordable Concrete did on this project. They replaced an aging patio and step, and installed a landing and a new adjoining 15' sidewalk for us. John called immediately after I requested a bid, and he traveled to look at the jobsite within a few hours. John listened carefully to my requests and made ALL of my concerns his own as he worked on the project. He treated all my communication urgently, and always responded immediately to my calls and texts. He fully informed me of what to expect on each stage of the project, and actually completed things faster than his original projected timeline. His pricing was more than fair and he went above and beyond on several aspects of the work. Though I fully expected the concrete job to look nice, it actually turned out even better than I could have hoped for. The level of craftsmanship displayed is perfection. All the edges, cuts, lines and finishing are exactly correct. There was no leftover construction mess, and they left the jobsite (much) better than the way they found it. I fully recommend them to anyone without hesitation. Also, I want to mention that John and crew treated very gently and respectfully an aging family member with dementia that would sometimes come outside to "help" while they were onsite working.

John and his crew were wonderful! They added a slab next to our pool. They were considerate, kind, and clean. He did the job exactly how he said and treated us with respect. His price was great and so was his service!!

Anyone looking for concrete work, hire John. He has years of knowledge and expertise, and that was evident in his craftsmanship. I had him build a 15x20ft patio with stairs, and it looks beautiful. I couldn't be happier. He got it done in a timely manner, and did exactly what he said he was going to do. His finishing was also excellent. He filled in all the tiny holes and blended the steps together seamlessly with the pad. Overall, my spouse and I are extremely satisfied. I would hire him again for any future concrete work.
