Affordable Appliance Repair

He charged 98.00 trip charge and never ask for the model number he came out and ask where the make and model was. He said he could not get the thermometer for our model it was to old. And collected the trip charge and left. What a scam I would not recommend or use him.

His name is Tony but his real name is Antonio Huckaby, he rude, and unprofessional. I spoke to him on Monday, July 27, 2025 he will come out on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 before 12pm. He call on Wednesday July 30, 2025 around 9:30am say he coming over, and there is a $98.00 call out fee. He ask didn't I mention the call out fee and I say no. He say well there is a fee. I try to reschedule he say I am nearby insisting coming over. He diagnose my Whirlpool washer say it's the switchboard the main part for the washer. He did tell me how much the repair cost total. He keeps repeating $98.00 like four times and follow around my place even try to get the money. I told him I will write a check for $98.00 he say okay. Than he changed his mind cash. He will follow me to Wellsfargo bank on Charleston. He left I got a call from the bank. He suppose to come back today Friday, August 1, 2025 no call no show. I called him around 10am he refuses to come say I have a bad attitude. He rip me off.

Please do not use this company. He is not honest. He said he replaced the mother board to my washing machine and he never did and charged me 425.00 to replace nothing. After he left my house I called him and said I want the old part and he said he would mail it bec he was on the other side of town. I never received the mother board he said he replaced. Please do yourself a favor and don't use affordable appliances repair.

They did a great job, my ice maker is fixed. The only issue was that I was promised $89 deducted from the bill and I was charged more than I expected. Plus they never gave me a receipt.

and then charge me a lot more for all the work. The fridge does work now, but it has a very big break of the plastic in the back of the fridge.

Tony responded right away when I made the request on Angi. He came out to the house to repair our gas dryer the next morning and was polite and courteous. Our gas dryer was magically fixed, there was nothing wrong with it. Tony only charged his service fee and was honest about the problem. Neither he nor I actually know why the gas dryer wasn't providing heat the previous day. I appreciate his honesty.

Suggest do not use them

After installing a new valve on my icemaker it still would not work. A new ice maker was put in and it still does not work. I called and the owner Antonio Huckabee hung up on me.

No resolution to the service call.
