Reviews
Write a ReviewGeoff and his team were very meticulous, professional, experienced and really good people. We were very impressed with all the prep work done before the actual painting of the exterior was started. We highly, very highly recommend Adesion painting and plan to use them for future projects.
Excellent results! Geoff and his crew were very knowledgeable, efficient and courteous. Have hired them for several projects. Pricing is reasonable. Highly recommend!
Professional, showed up on time every day and worked a full day. Did a complete prep prior to painting...minor stucco repair, caulking, wood sanding, and priming. Good crew.
Geoffrey, T.J and Keith were always punctual and reliable. Geoffrey worked hard to ensure our requests and expectations were met. There were some difficult areas to paint on our project, but Geoffrey listened to us and strove to do the best job possible. We could tell that the crew really cared about doing a good job and pleasing the customer. I recommend the company for any exterior residential painting.
Best experience. Adhesion did a wonderful job, can't say enough about our newly painted house. We smile everytime we walk through our doors!
Adhesion painting was fast, professional and very easy to work with. I will definitely use them for future painting projects. Thanks!
Geoff stood out when he came to my house and offered advice about the colors that were trending since i was unsure of what I wanted. He was very through in his estimates and description of the work that would be performed. I really appreciated the ideas that he brought to the table and I chose to move forward with most of his ideas. The detail and finished product looks amazing. He painted the entire interior of our newly purchased home and it actually looks more like a home. We plan to have him back to do some fixes as soon as we finish some other construction projects!
After reading all of these fantastic reviews, I wish that I could submit another just like it. I do agree with a lot of what's been written about Adhesion Painting: on time, responsive, respectful, and clean throughout the project. My husband and I have done a lot of home renovation and those attributes are critical and rare no question. Our issue with Adhesion Painting began after the project was complete. Geoff and his team painted our interior ceilings, walls, cabinets, and baseboards (May 2017 completion) and exterior trim (July 2017 completion). A very short time after the job was done, we started to notice that paint was cracking and peeling in a few areas at a time: inside a laundry room cupboard; bathroom ceiling; areas surrounding two skylights; hallway ceiling outside the master bedroom. The front door started peeling within a day or two of the completion of the job. We've been busy with other home projects, but we made contact with Geoff to ask him to take a look, and he stopped by last weekend. As I took him around to show him the areas mentioned, he was responding with a quick, Uh-huh. Uh-huh as if to say, well, sure it's cracking and peeling all right. As I lead Geoff down the hall, from behind me, he asked, Did you guys really expect me to come back here and fix all of this for free?â Actually, I donât know exactly what we expected at that point. We were hoping to at least open a dialogue, and we had to have him see the areas of concern to do that. I certainly was NOT expecting a condescending response and a snippy attitude from someone to whom we had paid thousands of dollars just barely a year ago. We werenât wrangling for a free paint job after a house full of kids had been knocking against the walls for 10 years. After we toured the problem areas, Geoff explained that he and his crew did everything right with regard to prep: quality product, appropriate process, required chemicals, etc. He simply didn't know why the paint was peeling; it just happened sometimes. Geoff explained that with âthese old houses, you never know what's on those walls could be water base, over oil base, over water base, etc. Sometimes paint just doesn't stick. He couldn't say why, and told me that any other painter would tell me the same thing. So there I was, standing with Geoff in my foyer, with the idea that some people are just meant to have peeling paint in their homes, like when you buy a car and it turns out to be a lemon. Geoff then explained that the previous homeownerâs son told him that he was doing some projects around the house for his mother so, âwho knows what that guy might have put on the walls (The previous owner of our home used Adhesion to paint the exterior and master bathroom walls. That's how we found Geoff.) Couple of points on Geo's response: 1. This is a 1990 track home. It's not a turn of the century Victorian, where you might very well see oil base paint, on top of water base,
Areas of peeling paint 1: Front door peeling where customer placed vinyl strip at edge of door, thus sticking to vinyl. Paint 2: Former owner painted several different areas including door casings, master bathroom ceiling with water-based paint over oil-based paint, hence the peeling. We deal with many houses with this problem, which was brought up to the owner. The idea that I would scoff or be disrespectful to any customer is laughable. Review is inaccurate.
Geoff was great to work with. He and his team painted my whole house and garage. They even accommodated a paint color change after they had already painted several rooms, and were fair about the price change for labor and supplies. The quality of the work was great, no touchups needed, and they left our home clean on a daily basis. Communication was great, and he was accommodating of other contractors working on the house at the same time.
