    When dealing with the security of your home you want to be doubly sure the people who install and maintain your security system are honest, competent, fair, pleasant to get along with and reliable. AVS is a wonderful company to do business with. We bought our (spec) home in 2016 with an AVS installed alarm. There was once when I had to call them for a door sensor failure which they replaced, if I remember, at no charge. On a few other occasions something went wonky with the keypad and was fixed with simple over the phone instructions from the receptionist â again, no charge. Unfortunately, 7 years later and after the mfr. had discontinued our particular model alarm, we had a catastrophic failure of the motherboard. Chris hunted around to try and save us the expense of a new system and managed to find a similar board in their warehouse which they believed would work. Unfortunately, it couldnâ t pick up the existing sensors so that idea turned out to be a dead end. On their recommendation, we agreed a new system was the way to go but this was an upgrade. However, instead of charging us more, they agreed to do the new install for the same price with two brand new touch pads, all new RF sensors and an additional motion detector. Thank you, AVS! Robert was the salesperson who priced the job, Chris worked out all the behind-the-scenes logistics, chasing down of parts and setting up the job while Matthew, a very knowledgeable and skilled technician (no marks on the wall, no peeled paint from removing the old sensors and pads and no mess on the floor) did the install and got my wife and I set up with the control app on our phones and pads. We were up and running in very short order and just in time for our out of town trip. AVS have a great team, are fair and honest, do neat and professional work and are very pleasant to work with. Even after 7 years I canâ t recommend them enough; thank you Robert, Chris and Matthew!

    We had our business alarmed through this company. They contracted, installed and maintained our system for several years. Upon closing our business earlier this year, we called and advised them that we needed to terminate our service. We are now (3 months later) getting collection letters from a 3rd party *alarm funding service* that wants us to pay a past due amount.

    Technicians are helpful and competent but the office staff and billing systems are a nightmare. Nothing but excuses and a billing system that they have no control or knowledge of? Payments made that they cant find. Third party billing for monitoring that is a huge problem. Canceled their service and removed the system they installed in our new house because they would not come out and put in a cellular communicator after 2 weeks and multiple calls - even though they owe us a refund that we will never see - replaced with another company.
