I had my annual gas furnace check up with ARS and technician Jose RodrÃguez did a great job. He patiently answered my many questions in a friendly, professional manner. We spoke about a duct work refit and about an electrical filter system for cleaner, safer air, which I bought. Jose did a great job installing it. He is very knowledgeable, professional and personable. Thank you!

ARS was contracted through Lowe's at first then all communications were through the Company. It started with a inspection to check all components and black mold was found in the inside unit so with the age of the system (22 years) I decided to see what a replacement would cost. I got a estimate from another company and then from ARS and theirs was quite a bit lower; I did receive a discount for being a Veteran. The guys got here when they said they would and completed all work in a timely manner. The temps were around 90 and they only stopped long enough to drink something; the old system (inside and outside) was pulled and the new was up and running in about 3 hours. The installers put covers on their shoes and covered the areas they worked in and to with drop cloths. Both answered all my questions, I usually ask a lot, and didn't seem to be bothered by it. Overall it was a good experience dealing with ARS.

My salesman was very knowledgeable and informative of the HVAC system being replaced. The installers, Kyle and Keshawn, were wonderful. Never had a better group of people. They were very thorough and went above and beyond what was expected. Great service all the way from ARS.

We needed the heat pump repaired and Freon added. Robert was very knowledgeable and thorough. We had a new a/c installed and that went very well too.. James and Cordell installed that.

I will NEVER use ARS of Virginia again! ARS failed sales & installation. During sales pitch on 12/17, I was told install team would cover floors & anything else. 12/18- During HVAC installation, install team drilled into the brick wall to run the pvc piping outside. They did not cover anything so the brick dust went everywhere! They also failed to seal around the pvc piping hole indoors so cold air was seeping in. Lastly, they spilled pvc primer that is not removable all over my white floors. 12/21- Called ARS b/c house was filled w/ a plastic burning smell. ARS sent tech who said he could not smell anything due to his nasal congestion. He explained that new HVAC may need to ?air out?. 12/23- Heat stopped working in middle of night. Called ARS tech discovered that the air handler burned out b/c it was improperly installed. Plastic condensation tubing was installed outside so it froze & led to heat failure. That explained burning plastic smell b/c air handler was working overtime.
