GB Tree

We had half of a huge pine tree fall away from our house and into the lake. We received permission from the town to remove the remaining part of the tree as well as 6 others that threatened our house. We had a number of tree service companies give us estimates and advise us. It was a good experience and we learned from each one of them. Greater Boston tree was not our 1st choice but after a number of failed return calls with other services, we decided to go back to them. It was the best decision we made. Leighton App, the owner, came out to our house right away, his crane operator showed up as scheduled the next day. We set up a date for the removal and on that day, they came and completed the removal and clean up. The staff were professional, friendly, and went above and beyond, in more ways than one. Giant trees were removed with precision no damage to my house or the plants in the garden next to the trees. One employee even waded into a still cold lake to get the last of the tree that had fallen. Great Job

Their rep, named Mike, was very presenttable, spoke well, and was genuinely interested in what I had to say and listen to what I wanted done. The tree crew were polite, shook my hand and we went over the work that had to be done. The owner of the business, Leighton, a nice young man, was easy to talk too, polite, and made you feel comfortable talking with him. He listened to what I wanted done, and we worked together to get my two trees taken down, plus some large overgrown arborvitae's in the front side of my house. They also pruned my four Quanah Cherry trees, a flowering ornamental tree. They took off links and dead branches I pointed out. Unfortunately they were unable to take out a wood pile I had, because some of the wood was composted, much of it frozen to the ground, and they didn't want to risk taking any of the cut boards I had in there, for fear of nails messing and damaging their chipper machine, and told me that is something I could have a landscapers take care of. So I am OK with that. As a result of that, Leighton knocked off $150.00 off the final payment to him, which was good of him to do. Oversll, I am please with the work they did. We did get some ruts in the soil, which turned to mud, but Leighton leveled them out the best he could. I will be raking out the soil and reseeding,as soon as the soil dries out. I would recommend them to snyone. Oh, also they did a pretty good job cleaning up all the little sticks and pieces of broken branches too, as it was difficult to get some of them up with snow on the ground. Check this company out. I'm sure you will be satisfied with their work.

When they found out my broken tree was on my power lines they came out right away, they were quick, efficient and kind. They did such a great job I would highly recommend them to anyone for tree service, also the price was affordable. Thank you Greater Boston Tree Service.
