Had some trees cut and a couple trees pruned and I was very happy with the work ALZ did!

Alex and his team were professional. the newly installed sod looks great. The team was thorough and very knowledgeable about what they were doing. Will definitely call them again for my next lawn project

I negotiated a price for removal of a tree and cutting of certain shrubs around my house. The removal of a tree by the workers was admirable to watch. The crew was very knowledgable and professional. I checked the completed work at the side of the house but failed to check the front. A couple of the negotiated shrubs we agreed on to be completed were missed. When I did call to remind him of our negotiated agreement for the front of the house I was told that he would return to finish the project. I was disappointed that he never came back or called. A disappointing end to an otherwise well done job.

If I worked 24/7 for the entire summer I would not have been able to accomplish what this company did in 1 day. The weeds and overgrowth on my property were over 5 ft in some sections. They did not try pull from a standing position. These workers were on their hands and knees pulling right from the root. They were careful working around around the delicate Lillys, pinching out the weeds that were growing up between the plant clusters. The cutting of the tree overhanging into my yard opened up the sunshine. They did not just throw mulch around the exposed dirt. A sharp defined edge was cut around the lawn area and then the mulch finished off that part of the job. At one point the debris pile in my driveway area was the size of a small vehicle and it was all picked up and swept clean. I would easily hire them again. Their pricing was very reasonable compared to other quotes I received.

This was an awful company! I had such an awful experience with Alex!! He came to my house to give me an estimate on the project, I then reached out to him 2 days later to move forward with the project. When he came to my house we went over everything again to be sure and he changes what we had agreed to do and added more charges to the project. He did not remember what we had discussed and started charging more!! Be very careful with this company! The guy is totally unprofessional! He does not stick with initial estimate!!!

We went through five different tree services and he was actually the first one. He was the only one to provide a copy of his license and a free quote via email. He was one who showed up on time, did the work, cleaned up and let us inspect the work and once we were satisfied he left. On top of that we asked for extra work to be done outback and it was no problem he was quick to help us out. I would hire him again and highly recommended them.

ALZ was hired to take down a large tree in our back yard and grind down the stump. ALZs quote was a little over the going market price but they had good reviews so we went with them, They showed up on time, were professional and did an excellent job of cutting down the tree and cleaning up the mess created by cutting down the tree. The next weekend they came and ground down the stump. However, this time they left the wood chips piled 3 feet high in our back yard and left without cleaning up the wood chips. When I spoke to Mr. Aymar Lopez Chavez, the owner, he informed me that we had not hired ALZ to clean up the pile of woodchips created by grinding down the stump and that we would have to **hire a landscaper** to clean up the large pile of wood chips in our back yard created when they ground down the stump. Mr. Chavez informed me that it was not ALZs job to clean up the mess left by them when they ground down the stump. Some years prior to ALZ taking down our tree we had hired other tree removal services to take down, and grind the stumps of, two other large trees in our yard. Those services also did a professional job but they also cleaned up the mess they created when they ground down the stumps. We assumed that when we hired ALZ to grind the stump, they would clean up the mess. So, while the job they did taking down the tree was done on time and in a professional manner, because they charged above the market price for the job and refused to clean up the mess they left when they ground down the stump, unfortunately I cannot recommend them. You can find other tree removal services that are cheaper, do as professional a job AND clean up their mess. This is not the review I wanted to write.
