Reviews
Write a ReviewI had a section of my roof that was poorly designed & falling apart. Ben came out on a Saturday & gave me a quote that was very reasonable. He showed up to do the repair today & I am very happy with the results!! I highly recommend Advantage Energy Solutions. Quality work, fair pricing & very reliable!
During the January 24 ice storm in Vancouver, our roof started leaking. We suspected that it might be the solar installation from last summer. Ben responded during the ice storm and crawled around our attic taking pictures. The solar system wasnâ t involved; it was sloppy work with a drainage pipe from the original builder. Ben came back and fixed that problem that evening at no charge. We were very happy with the customer service, and the solar system has worked as they represented it would. We highly recommend this company.
I have been eager to go solar for years but always had an excuse not to. When Advantage Energy Solutions showed up at my door, they were probably the fourth outfit to try to convince me to pull the trigger. What made me do it with them rather than the other guys was simply how friendly and patient they were with my apprehension. Absolutely NO pressure, they just wanted me to know why I should at least consider the option. They explained all the costs, worked with me on financing and padded it with a rebate to make it so easy to say yes. I also loved the idea that they were a local company rather than the conglomerates that just do not have that enthusiasm these guys have. If I have any complaint, it is that they did not come sooner. It took about four months from the time I signed until the project was done, just in the nick of time to take advantage of the summer sun. I have not had so much fun staring at my new net meter watching the dial spin the other way (it is an LCD screen now but who cares, right? It is blinking to the left!!).I will say we have the perfect roof for this and solar might not work for everyone, but if you have a wide, south facing roof and unobstructed view of the sky, just do it. Yes, even in OR/WA! With the green movement gaining traction, having your own generating capacity will become an absolute must. Prices are guaranteed to rise, the government is clamping down on fossil fuels, and an increasing number of EVs soaking up electricity are going to become the norm. Supply is limited and population (thus demand) will only grow. Just consider, daytime outages will be a thing of the past! It PAYS FOR ITSELF, lasts longer than almost any appliance or car you will ever own, it adds to the value of your house and tax incentives make any added short-term cost negligible. I will not say your dumb for not looking into it, but you will feel that way if you do not seriously consider making the move. Just do it! Do not hesitate to sign up with these guys.
Advantage Solar really worked with us from start to finish. They were available for questions and helped us also with integrating the solar with our electric car charger. When the panels produce more than our usage, there is a credit on our account! We highly recommend Joe and all the staff and electricians related to this company.
He is quick to respond, does high quality work, and I was very happy with it.
