    We recently were in need of a new AC unit. I received quotes from multiple companies and decided to go with AC Experts. One concern I had with the initial quote was it did not include increasing the return size for the new unit. I had them reevaluate our needs and the salesman, agreed that a larger return was warranted and wrote increasing it into the contract. I signed and we scheduled for the next week. They came out, installed the new unit, but failed to increase the return. Additionally, they left a jumble of wires hanging out of the air handler in our garage - it looked lazy and amateur. I contacted the salesman about it and sent him a picture. They had a different technician come out the next week to clean it up (which he did, it looks ok). At that time I also had them assess the air flow to the unit as they had not increased the return as originally contracted to do. Upon investigating, he found that the 1 week old compressor was shutting off due to... "Lack of return air". They agreed to have someone come out and do the ductwork. When the guy came out to do the ductwork, he said very little to me and appeared to be frustrated that he had to do this work (it was the same guy who did the initial install). When work was completed, I asked what work was done and he rolled his eyes and said: increased the return, like we said we would. I asked about the compressor and he said it wasn't his job. Awesome. I called AC Experts the next chance I had (3 days later) and asked if they'd be sending someone out to check the pressures and air flow. They said they'd be happy to for a $65 service fee. No thanks, I'm not the one who screwed up. I then emailed the guy who fixed the wires and saw the air flow issue, was said I "should be good to go." It is frustrating to hire a company to do thousands of dollars of work, on something I know little about, and then essentially have to fight to get the job done correctly. AC is their business not mine. Things like return size and end product appearance should be on their radar...as supposed experts. If you use this company, inspect the work carefully. It might even be worth paying to have a second company come in and inspect the final product. I was definitely not satisfied with my experience.

    There was ceiling damage so I am waiting for them to make good on that (should be this week). The inatalller was rude when he first came over but that changed throughout the day. Scott the owner was terrific to deal with.

    This contract was willing to work with me on financing and to install a good quality Emerson brand thermostat after experiencing issues with the installation of the Honeywell wireless thermostat. The three ton Frigidaire two stage ECM fan motor system can support 70 degree cooling demand during 117 degree days that is impressive.

      We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them.
    8. Liens Search
      We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them.
    9. Identity Verification (SSN)
      HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities.
