Absolutely awful experience. It was a cold weekend in Texas and we were desperate to get the heater working downstairs. I advised him of the issue with our unit downstairs, and was not home to monitor his work. He called after he had finished the work, and said it was warm upstairs now, and it looked good. I told him the issue was downstairs not upstairs and he apologized and said he would come back to fix the other unit. He also told me he would refund the money I had paid him to fix the wrong unit. That never happened, and when he came back he attempted to charge me almost 1000 dollars worth of work on the unit that was having issues. After multiple professionals looked at the furnace it was determined that the issue was with the thermostat, and had nothing to do with the furnace itself. It was a quick and easy fix, and we have warmth in our house for are kids and my wife again! Watch your step with this company, they will take you for all you got.

Please note that working with this customer was not the best, we did have a misdiagnosis but we're only going off what the customer said. The customer asked me to install an access door on a unit. I did not hear it on the call where he said to install it on the downstairs unit. Maybe if there was a call saying "Hey, I need access installed and the blower cleaned oh and also the unit outside just keeps running while the heat is on", then the outcome would have been different. The refund was sent to the customer's email and the bill was not for $1000.00 it was $550.00. Contractors beware of this customer.

I will hire JHC Cooling and Heating again, they are very professional, polite, on time, and kept the communication going on what was needed, and what to expect. Project was completed in a short time. I recommend them for any cooling and heating project. The employees were very polite, pleasant, and arrived on time. JHC Cooling finished the job within a day, which included four apartments.

After talking with Mrs. Ferguson it was determined that I had never been to her home, she had us confused with another contractor. I did however go to her home and place and order for the defective part. it should be here Thursday.
