Reviews
Write a ReviewI recently hired A-Z Contracting and Weslyn for a laundry room build and a bathroom renovation, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. They built our new laundry room from scratch, including all new plumbing, electrical work, and a new dryer vent installation. They also renovated and extended our bathroom, and the finished space looks fantastic. Weslyn and his team were trustworthy, punctual, and extremely reliable throughout the entire project. I felt completely comfortable giving them access to my home while I wasn’t there, which says a lot about their professionalism and integrity. The craftsmanship is excellent, and the attention to detail really shows in the finished work. All of the workers were knowledgeable, polite, and respectful of our home. The project was completed efficiently and to a very high standard. I would absolutely use A-Z Contracting again and highly recommend Weslyn and his team to anyone looking for quality work done right.
They turned a really old bathroom into a modern sleak new one. We were leaving inside house while they were working and I really like their staff, good hardworking people. They were able to do the job and clean as you can, and the tyle work was really good.
Weslyn and his team were amazing. He worked with me closely every step of the way. From picking out floors designing the layout picking the cabinets all before signing with him. He worked with me on my ideas and made them a reality. His team was professional and courteous. There have been small tweaks needed after completion due to normal settling which he was quick to have addressed. I would highly recommend his company
Weslyn was fantastic. Hired him multiple times. Gut redo 3 bathrooms turned out perfect. Full gut. Did everything we asked. He can do anything. Have referred him to multiple friends. Price much better than we got elsewhere. Would highly recommend.
My kitchen is total garbage. I can?t believe the reviews I?m reading on Weslyen. Got to be two different contractors. Weslyen never worked a full day nor a full week. We hired him in October 2025. As of today, 01/07/26, my kitchen has to be taken apart. The wiring is wrong, the plumbing is wrong, only half the kitchen was painted. I have these beams that I wanted covered with plywood so I can stain them, instead he put up primed wood.
Hello John Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I would like to respond to your review and provide clarification regarding the circumstances surrounding your project. First, I do not agree with the characterization of your kitchen as a “garbage.” All work performed by my team and licensed subcontractors was completed based on the design you provided and in accordance with applicable building requirements and code standards. Unfortunately, we were not given the opportunity to complete the project, as we were denied access to the property before final completion. My company has a strong history of positive reviews, which reflects our commitment to quality work and professional relationships with our clients. All projects we undertake are completed based on approved plans and the scope outlined in the contract. Requests for additional work outside of the agreed scope are subject to additional cost, as outlined in our standard contract terms. Your project could have been completed; however, payment for completed work and materials was declined, and additional work was requested that was not included in our original agreement. I do not perform additional work without proper authorization and compensation. At the start of the project, all new plumbing was installed by a licensed and qualified plumber. The work was completed correctly and would have passed inspection had permits and inspections been pursued. You chose not to proceed with the permitting process, which prevented rough inspections from being conducted. While I understand your dissatisfaction, the project remained incomplete due to the decision not to allow us to finish the work. We maintained communication throughout the project, including daily and weekly coordination for days of work, and I have documented records of these communications. While there were some delays, they were not caused by my team or subcontractors. All aspects of the work were properly coordinated on our end. Regarding the kitchen layout, the design provided required revisions after installation had already begun. You later requested the removal of an island cabinets that was designed and installed by another party, as it was too close to the door. This change required redoing OUR plumbing and electrical work that had already been completed. I advised at that time that these changes would result in additional costs, as rework was not part of the original scope AND NOT OUR MISTAKE. As outlined in our contract, wall and ceiling preparation and painting were to be completed after cabinet installation. While the preparation work was completed, the final coat of paint was intentionally scheduled as one of the last steps. The project was halted before this stage could be reached. Regarding the exposed beam, the agreed-upon finish was clear wrapping. An error was made while I was not present, and I immediately offered to correct it. Unfortunately, we were not given the opportunity to do so once the project was discontinued. I have extensive documentation, including texts and emails, that reflect our efforts to resolve these issues and complete the project. Approximately $18,000 in completed work and materials remains unpaid, despite there being only a few days of work remaining at the time the project was stopped. I am genuinely sorry that this project did not reach completion and regret that your experience was not a positive one. If you would like to discuss this further, I remain open to having a conversation. Please feel free to contact me directly. Thank you and take care.
beautiful end result
A2Z Contractors helped me change the layout of an existing house extension and connect it to an unfinished lower level. A living room/kitchen combo became a bedroom and the new home of a laundry area. They installed a stairs to the lower level and finished the space by installing drywall, insulation, interior and exterior door, support beam and windows. They work started late December with a planned completion by February at the latest and they were completed by then. I was impressed that they stuck to the timeframe; and their professionalism and communication skills. Iâ ve already called on them for other asks and will continue to do so. I highly recommend working with A2Z Contractors LLC. I am enjoying my space!
I hired A2Z to tackle a major renovation of my condo, including two bathrooms, the deck, and a full interior paint job. I was away for much of the project and Weslyn was excellent about communication. Would recommend.
A2Z completed a full kitchen, dinning room, and mudroom remodel. They moved walls (including load bearing), re-did plumbing and electrical, new flooring, new ceilings, new window installs, painting (interior and exterior) and relocated a bath room. Weslyn and his crew we're responsive and worked with us through delays that were outside of their scope of work. The project came out very nice and we're excited to be in our new 1st floor!
Did great job will hire again
