"This is a Father and Son business who did an excellent job. They responded quickly to our inquiry. came and did an estimate, and did a great job on a set of very heavy doors. They removed the trim, replaced the wood behind the hinges and reinstalled the hinges using heavy duty screws. They also caulked and painted several places on the doors. "A steel pillar supporting our big backyard deck was rusted and broken. I was a little panicked and called Ryan. He listened carefully and came to check the second day. He took the difficulty to go under the slate to make sure other pillars are ok and did this carefully and thoroughly. We are relieved that only the broken one needed to be placed. Ryan did a wonderful job; the replacement looks very beautiful and authentic. Ryan was very professional, patient and polite. He made sure the working area was clean before he left. "They fixed the overhang on our front porch and the posts to hold it. We got soffit and fascia put on to match as the old was getting bad. We had 2 new windows put in our family room and a new storm door and inside door to replace one that had been in the house for over 60 yrs. and did not latch properly. They did excellent work. The only problem was some of the debris left in our backyard. Our two dogs would pick it up and try to chew it or bring it in the house to eat. That would be something to keep in mind for future customers with pets. Other than that, excellent work all around."

Peter was the only contractor of five that I enlisted with Service Magic that said I should have a permit for my windows from the city of Arvada. All the others said it was not necessary. Peter mentioned the cost was minimal to do this, but it gave me an extra layer of security that they did the project right. Anymore, if you don't pull a city municipality permit for your project it could come back later as a nightmare when you go to sell the home. The new buyers will require that you document this. D.
