"Maximo Construction gave us a great bid, has competent and friendly workers, kept to the agreed upon schedule, and turned out exceptional products in our new composite deck and pergola. Maximo engineered the pergola to hold retractable canopy panels. The pergola is extremely sturdy, symmetrical, and aesthetic. His communication was excellent throughout the entire project. I could not recommend him and his company highly enough. I will definitely hire him/them again!"

"Diego Fernandez-Buzzy of Assistance in Paradise, crafted an attractive redwood front entrance for our home in Berkeley. He was willing to work with our ideas and came up with a lovely functional design while at the same time addressing issues like subsidence, drainage, structural problems and aesthetics. Our covered front porch was made of two pieces of concrete, one of which was starting to tilt into our front yard away from the house. Diego quickly assessed the situation and proposed ways to protect the existing structure from erosion and invasion by our cute little neighborhood critters. Diego and his assistant stabilized the roof, demolished the existing concrete, poured footings for the new structure and fixed up the walls of the house, matching the existing siding. Then, he built a beautiful redwood front porch for us with a Shaker style balustrade and stairs. He consulted with us on the various features and materials and we got exactly what we wanted. The quality of his work is impressive and we would recommend Diego and his company, Assistance in Paradise for any project you have in mind."

"Itâ  s rare these days to meet a contractor with such integrity and absolute commitment to customer service.. Edwinâ  s work speaks for itself. Itâ  s always done right. In addition to complying with building codes and specifications he truly does not overcharge his customer. On the contrary, he goes overboard keeping the bill to a minimum. Carrillo Construction has worked on many jobs for me in the older home I purchased in Sonoma. I could not possibly recommend them more highly. Everyone that works in this company is not only knowledgeably, respectful to a fault, built ultimately eager to make the job perfect- with the absolute least impact/inconvenience to me the homeowner. "I hired Hugo to do 85? of fence replacement and a gate update and cost was more important than making it look good. Hugo asked me a few questions and got me a quote that was reasonable based on what the last company had charged. Then they built this amazing fence and gate that changed my entire back yard. Hugo was onsite checking the work every day, and the crew was here 5 minutes before the start time. We?d been trying to figure out a ramp for years so I asked for ideas. This was not a money making job but it was done with just as much attention to detail as all the other work. When they left, they cleaned up stuff the last company left. These days I?m happy if people just do their job, so I?m really happy with the work and the entire experience I had."
