  Comment: My initial thoughts are that the overall size shall be 20'x24'. The deck will sit on a gentle slope – approximately 3’-4” drop over a 20’ distance (slope of 1:6). It shall have 3 levels, stepping down the slope. The largest being 12’ x 18’. The next being 8’x 24’. The smallest being 6’ x 12’. It shall be of wood frame construction, with the surface being composite material. It shall conform to all building codes. It shall sit just above the ground at the top of the slope, and step down the slope as necessary. An approximately 1500 pound gazebo will eventually be built on the large section. Railings for the other sections shall be the subject of discussion. Footings for all shall be the subject of discussion. The results of this discussion could possibly alter the plans we have made thus far.
