"We had such a great experience working with Beverly builders on our ADU and backyard project! They have meticulous attention to detail and great ideas for designs. They helped us configure the best layout for the ADU. At the beginning they came up with multiple options. The only thing we had to do was choose the layout that was suitable for us. They handled the submission process with the city. Craftsmanship was great and we were informed about timelines and scheduling for the job. They recommended us a few showrooms to help us select finish materials. Now we can say that we definitely love the results! Dealing with the city wasnâ t an easy thing with all the inspections but the company was able to handle all of that. We definitely recommend them to anyone that is looking to hire a contractor!"

"Excellent work!!! Price is good, work is done as fast as possible, (who cares if they take a short or long lunch people, they are not punching a time clock! I care that they DO NOT leave for days at a time, and they work to get the job done to your satisfaction as well as his! I've never seen a more beautiful patio, and he had to put up with me changing my mind on the type and color of the stone, but it all came together perfectly! My Boston terrier loves them and misses eating their lunch with them! I wouldn't hire anyone else for any other work except Bill Light! I've read other reviews, and he is not handyman! The second job (ongoing now) is removing wood on the front of the house and stuccoing it Our third job will be remodeling our laundry room. He will remove a closet and cupboards and install new cabinets. He maintains a very clean work environment and does an excellent job. He has also offered helpful suggestions. "I hired Carroll Building Solutions to demo and rebuild an old wooden patio cover. I hired Joe because had good ratings and he had a reasonable price for the job. He took care during the demo and cleaned up properly (this is rare). He rebuilt the patio as I asked and did a great job. Additionally after the job was completed and I had paid him, I asked him to add a slope to the cover so I could add a waterproof cover. Expecting an additional fee (as would be reasonable) he performed the extra work for free. I was stunned. He came back and again did a great job and cleaned up. I canâ t say enough about this handyman!! A trustworthy and cost effective company."

"My husband and I started our remodeling journey in February 2015. At first we wanted to just update our kitchen. But after a while we decided to expand the project and remove the walls between the kitchen, dining room and family room and create one big open space. We worked with a construction company for more than 3 months. We met with them many times and finally we decided they were not up to the task. My husband found Horizon from the Angie’s list and he setup an appointment. When Mark came to our house he explained the process to us. They would do the the plans, get them approved by the city and then we could use him for construction or go with another companies. He gave us a reasonable price for the drawings. He also showed us many pictures from different projects he had worked on. Projects in which he had moved or removed walls. That was important to me. Horizon move very quickly and we had approved plans in less than 3 weeks. Our project was not just upgrading rooms. There was serious structural change we needed to do. Removing all 3 load bearing walls and adding 2 huge beams across the house. It still scares me when I think about it. The construction project was supposed to take 3 months. The crews were in our house almost every day. And they worked really hard. The job site was kept clean and organized. We had a payment chart so we paid each piece after it was done. Demolition, material, footers, etc. I never forget the day we came home after a 3 day trip and saw the walls completely gone, beams up there and for the first time we could see our new space. It was very exciting. There were no big surprises but a few issues did come up but Mark and his team explained them and we work through them easily. Mark responded to all of our concerns and questions and was always available. The project finished just under 3 months and we are extremely happy with the result and experience. Mark and his team are true professionals. I also want to add that Enna was very helpful in the entire process keeping us up-to-date. Horizon made this project look easy. But I know it was not. They basically took our 1970 old, outdated and dark house and brought it to year 2015 making it look bright and open. Thank you Horizon Construction"
