"I had the sidewalk done last August by Best Choice Foundation and Masonry and it turn out awful. I couldn't get them to fix it and eventionally they wouldn't respond to my calls. I had a 5 year warranty on the work which wasn't worth the paper it was written on. I had four estimates to take it out and redue. I ended up having Residential Concrete Works do the removal and replacement. I was told they would take it out and have it replaced in 4 hours. They arrived at 8:30AM and were finished a little after 11:30AM and it is absolutely beautiful. I was very impressed by the workers and thier professionalism. "Eli and his crew did excellent work replacing and pouring a new 3-car driveway and portions of two sidewalks at our home. At our request, Castanon Concrete replaced a 4-inch driveway slab (with nonstructural concrete) with a 6-inch pour using structural concrete. Our old driveway was poorly prepared, causing the old, non-compacted subsoil to be very muddy. Eli removed more soil, added more than the expected amount of road base, laid a grid using a ½ inch rebar, and also tied it into the foundation. They invested significant time to properly compact the subsoil and road base before the new pour. One portion of the sidewalk needed special care and skill to replace. The old walk was pitched incorrectly, and it also was located about 1 inch away from our A/C unit. The crew was especially careful to not disturb the A/C during removal and create a new pitch to drain moisture away from our foundation. At our request, the crew did an exceptional job with clean-up. The muddy worksite was a challenge. Eli and his crew power-washed the entire area (curbs, gutters, sidewalk, and a significant portion of the street). And to finish up, the crew invested a lot of time picking up even small debris, and they reinstalled the 1 ½ inch crushed granite rock bordering our new driveway. Eli said his goal was to install a new, high-quality driveway without people even knowing it was a construction zone hours earlier. Castanon Concrete did precisely that. I highly recommend Eli and Castanon Concrete; they went out of their way to meet and surpass our needs."

They leveled the front step and the sidewalk by drilling holes in the concrete and pumping foam under them until everything was level. Andrew offered an alternative solution--to stretch the carpet and patch the "hole" with strips of excess carpet from the stretch. He did an awesome job and price was very reasonable! VERY PLEASED!"
