"We live atop a steep hill in Coolidge Corner. We purchased our home in 2019, and the home originally had a back deck that was in disrepair. We initially thought that a patio was out of our budget but Jerry worked with us in getting a paver patio within budget. Because of that, Stonewall Landscapes was able to do a complete overhaul of our property. This included adding tiers and landscaping to our front hill, designing a side path, and installing a paver patio, retaining wall, lawn/garden, and privacy fencing in our back yard. We are beyond thrilled with their work. Jerry worked with us in figuring out what we wanted our front hill and backyard to look like in terms of landscaping, and Jerry incorporated our ideas when selecting which plants/trees/shrubs to plant. Jerry is incredibly detailed-oriented, and his team is professional and efficient. They were here before 8am every day and worked 6 days a week to finish our project in about 3 weeks. At the end of each day, the team made sure that the work area was neat and clean before they left for the day. They were ahead of schedule and on budget. "Costs increased about 10% over estimate, work was well done and the final product was professional and well-built. Communication could have been better, the builder promised weekly meetings but that didn't happen. All in all, we were happy at the end of it all, and all questions were answered and all finishes to our satisfaction, which if you've ever worked with a contractor before, you know isn't a given. 5/5 would work with them again, the fireplace mantel and threshhold was particularly well done."

"We hired Maize Restoration for their comprehensive project evaluation (CPE) This is in advance of the actual renovation project and this review is specific to their CPE. We liked the idea of first engaging Maize restoration to scope the project throughly before committing to using them for the actual renovation. The process involved a few on site meetings (at our house) and several hours of detailed information gathering by Chase, Maize's president. We were pleased with the result of a couple of lifelike 'photos' of the completed bathroom and a roadmap of how we'd proceed. Chase "got it." Based on this, we have engaged Maize for the remodeling and we look forward to working with them on that project. Chase had come highly recommended by a couple of colleagues. We have interviewed a number of contractors for the project and we found that Maize's CPE gave us the confidence that they understood what we needed and would be good to work with. Chase was punctual, knowledgeable, and dare I say fun to work with."
