"At the time I was a first time home owner. Itâ s new construction so I was looking for very kind, honest, and passionate contractors who can help me make my dreams come true using a blank slate. I met Phillipo and crew and I just felt at home. Their honesty, skills, and drive to fulfill my vision was exceptional. I wanted a beautiful wood stone fire place and they created just that. I also had large beams put in on my ceiling and had them paint too. I couldnâ t believe how well they did with constructing that. They were professional, caring, and worked the entire time they were at my home. Sure there were little hiccups here and there but they had wonderful communication from start to finish and always made sure to fix any small issue that arose. I love how they have a warranty and came back for touch ups later on. They keep everything so cleanly like they were never here. Price was very reasonable as well and they can pretty much do anything from electrical, painting, all the way to plumbing. Still to this day, I get so many compliments on the work that was done in my home. Give them a try if you havenâ tâ ¦ and thank me later. We love our home :)."

I called to get a quote and within 2 days Joe A came out to the house to take a look at the space and he a feel for what we wanted. He was super personable and knowledgeable which I appreciated. I was upfront in telling him we were quoting the project out to a total of 4 companies. We ultimately decided on Rebath and Iâ m so glad we did. Once we decided to go with them, Joe confirmed all the details, then Kevin the owner came to do a final inspection and confirm choices/colors prior to material order. He laid out exactly how the process would go and what to expect. On install day the dream team showed up! Phil and Matt came in and nailed it. They were awesome. They were hilarious, hard working and knew their stuff. Even made a point to come and ask my input on little details. Things they didnâ t have to do, just above and beyond for even asking. During the install Kevin came by to see how project was going. After the completion of the project Joe A came back in to see it and make sure I was happy. These guys are super professional, good guys that do really really good work. They acted like guests in my home, nice to my kids and now I have a beautiful bathroom and they did so by doing everything they said they would. I recommend these guys. Iâ m very pleased. Worth every penny and their prices are in line with the market on bathroom remodels but in my opinion, their service and craftsmanship is above and beyond."

"Simply put, you will NOT find a better, more honest, more helpful, more easy-to-work-with, reasonably priced contractor than John Lee and his crew at J & K Home Improvement & Restoration! We had a "complicated" set of circumstances when our home was damaged by a storm, last winter. The insurance company sent out an estimator to assess the damage and, after the company recommended J & K Home Improvement & Restoration, I was introduced to John Lee. I eventually learned that John also does estimates for a variety of insurance companies (because his company is so well regarded), and he patiently listened as I described the nuances associated with our house. During our initial consultation, he was able to clearly describe all of the steps that would be necessary and answer all of our questions. Long story short, not only was John able to address EVERY single concern and request that we had regarding the eventual repairs to the house (including roof, siding, and a window upgrade that would have cost much more if we had done it at a later time), but he spent plenty of extra time making sure that everything we had talked about was addressed to our 100% satisfaction! He was also able to persuade the insurance company to cover more complete repairs than was originally specified by the first adjuster! In addition, when we had an electrical "hiccup" associated with all the pounding on the walls, John quickly sent an expert electrician to locate and correct the problem. He absolutely could have passed those charges on to us because the failure wasn't due to any mistake on the part of his crew but, instead, he picked up the unanticipated expense himself. It was truly a pleasure to work with John! He made a difficult situation as easy to manage as possible, and we would strongly recommend J & K Home Improvement & Restoration to anyone who wants to hire a quality contractor that stands behind their work and well-earned reputation!"

"Had the pleasure of partnering with Jolanta & her team for our our "mini" renovation i.e. refinishing 1200 sqft basement to include full bath, laundry room (move existing laundry from mudroom on main floor) reading nook, fireplace, entertainment area, bedroom & two separate new staircases. CONSULTAITON: Upon arrival Jolanta was prepared with taking measurements & hand drawn schematic drawings for each room; discussed options & feasibility for structural modifications/changes. DEMO DAY: the team was quick, efficient and maintained a consistent level of cleanliness upon their departure EACH DAY & throughout the project scope. COMMUNICATION: was key and I felt very comfortable working with the team on layouts, structural changes & appreciated their expertise when sometimes the answer was 'no' because of structural safety or existing ducts which could not be moved. I valued their creativity to give me the final results on my new staircase, bathroom, reading nook and laundry room (our project was tough at times because existing duct work could not be eliminated or moved). They always approached me with questions to ensure I approved any changes to layouts due to unforeseen issues. ATTENTION TO DETAIL/QUALITY: Jolanta and her team consistently demonstrated attention to details throughout the project & the quality of work was brought to life in the final results. I enjoyed doing the design & communicating with the team what my vision was for certain areas of the basement & then finally seeing it come to life! COST: Extremely competitive to say the least. I always had the same team working throughout the scope of the project & the value of their craftmanship & hard work is evident in the final results & the materials used. "I would say this is more like 4.5 but better than a 4. We had some initial hiccups and a bunch of miscommunication and dropped balls with our initial Field Manager. I think he was simply overstretched and not able to dedicate the time to the size of our project. Matrix made it right though and got us a new Field Manager named Jim and things went all as smoothly as I could have hoped afterwards. There were still some issues but they were more just part of the process and making sure everything was done right by the end of the project. Jim was amazing and he was on top of things from the moment he took over and, most importantly, he always took ownership and made sure the job got done and that it got done right. Once Jim took over, I felt confident that everything was going to turn out right and the way we had hoped. Most of the contractors were also very friendly, helpful, and had attention to detail overall."
