He was prompt and professional. Our first conversation was Sunday evening and he and four other employees were ripping out my bathroom completely on Wednesday morning. They showed up at 8:00 sharp every morning and worked till 4:00 each day. We had some extra issues in the 65-year-old house that Usin handled professionally with complete communication. They cleaned up thoroughly after each day and there was not one time within this entire project that I felt insecure. That’s a huge bonus! I am thrilled with the way the bathroom came out. A leaking vent pipe and wiring concerns led to problems above the bathroom in the attic. I was completely aware that my roof was shot so we agreed it should be done now. Roof, gutters and a house paint all done within the same timeframe. Highly recommend!! Serious professionals!!"

"I highly recommend DDR. There are so many contractors out there and it is difficult to know what youâ ll get when you hire someone, from the quality of the work to the level of communication. This team did a great job from start to finish, and delivered a beautiful new space for my family. We selected DDR after getting multiple bids to update our walk-out basement into a more livable space. Key in this selection -- the price was competitive, and the team seemed attentive to the project needs as outlined. I had a tight budget and relatively aggressive timeline for this project. Admittedly the timeline was impacted by a few things that were out of DDRâ s control, including the Town building inspectorâ s schedule and a delivery delay (a new window arrived damaged and had to be reordered.) Nevertheless, the team stayed on budget and delivered a wonderful new basement. What a great project team -- led by Alex, the team (including John + Angel) truly transformed a dark dingy space into a bright fresh room. Alex was very thoughtful in suggesting options that would improve things and was exceptionally attentive to detail. He was super responsive to any texts or questions. In particular, I appreciated his high level of â perfectionismâ in how the finished product turned out. For phase 2, we need some custom cabinetry built for the space and I look forward to having the DDR team return to work on this next phase."

"The true treasure of the experience was the carpenter, Balint, who was a very detail oriented craftsman. He worked long days, cleaned up space beautifully each day, communicated daily with us regarding the project. The electricians, Vince and Joe, were thorough and complete with all of their work. The project manager, Pete, stayed in touch regularly to complete the renovation on time."

"We hired Kevin Logan of Logan Designs to remodel a small guest bathroom that had been out of services for approximately ten years. Kevin carefully analyzed the project and our design plans, made some good suggestions which we adopted, and completed the project within the quoted price. This bathroom is in the middle of our living area, part of which Kevin needed as a staging area. It was inconvenient, but he was always respectful of our property and our privacy. At the end of the day, the staging area was clean and usable for the evening. Kevin is reliable. He was on the job, every day arriving at 9:00AM and departing at 5:00PM. "We hired Nixon for a small (one-bedroom) painting projectâ  walls, ceilings, trim, and interior doors. He was extremely thorough and professional every step of the way, and extremely responsive to texts, calls and emails. When he came to give us a quote, he was able to identify several instances of water damage and warping and he gave us the option of doing these repairs to ensure the best possible outcome. He also took care of matching paint colors and purchasing the paint beforehand. The room looks immaculate and all was accomplished in about 2.5 days. Nixon is hardworking, versatile, trustworthy, and talented. We will be bringing him back for more home projects!"

"Occasionally a recommendation is very easy to write - and this is one of them! If you need any painting done, contact John Atallah at John’s Final Touch Painting and Contracting! I needed two levels of outdoor decks refinished, plus one small balcony off of a bedroom, three sets of stairs, and a hand railing along a path to the lake level. All stairs and one deck level needed complete refinishing. John and I agreed that the rest only needed touch up work in a few spots. A price was agreed on that day (Saturday) for doing this which was price-wise in the middle of the three bids that I received. Work started on Monday. John and his crew arrived on time and work started with pressure washing. Tuesday the entire drew scraped and sanded. It was discovered that one set of multi-tiered steps needed some awkward structural replacement work. John figured out exactly what was needed, got the materials for it, and did what was required for a very nominal extra charge. Wednesday and Thursday the painting was done. As work progressed John saw that the “touch up” areas didn’t blend as well as he thought it would. Consequently he told his crew to completely paint the whole project - and went to town for more paint. By Thursday afternoon the painting was complete, and I was happy with it. John was not! He said that in his opinion the single coating was to thin. So - back to town for more paint, and he put a second coat on everything . . . all at no additional cost to me. What a great job! It’s perfect! How can I NOT give him a well earned 5 star PLUS rating???"
