"I hired John Howard to remove my 20 yr old water heater and water pressure tank and replace with same. I found him to be professional, personable, and knowledgeable. This was during the covid-19 time so store shopping for parts created a delay for him, because of the wait to even get into the store. He immediately text me to alert me of that so we just rescheduled the job for the next weekend. Yes, I'd highly recommend him as his price was reasonable for all the had to do on my behalf as a customer. His price was reasonable, too. Thanks John!!"

"Our Demo and installer was Gene from the Bath Authority group. Genes work throughout the entire process of Demolishing two tub/shower combinations (a little over 23 years old) and replacing with shower wall systems (BCI Acrylic) was OUTSTANDING! Gene is very meticulous and thorough. His attention to detail is above reproach! In short, his work is Superb! I am very impressed with the finished products. Extremely glad I went with Bath Authority. Highly recommend Bath Authority for any similar projects. As others have said, there was No mess or leftover materials after work was completed. Very professional and Well Done Gene."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
Thornville Addition & Remodeling Contractors are rated 4.6 out of 5 based on 1004 reviews of 1004 pros.
