"After researching a lot of local contractors I decided to go with Gary Bliss to convert half my shop into a barndo and cannot be happier with my choice. Gary and his entire crew were hard working, knowledgeable, and extremely professional. Gary even repaired the hvac system for my project saving me thousands on the cost of a new system. He also went above and beyond and helped me troubleshoot and repair an electrical issue with the well for my main house which was not in the scope of our contract. I highly recommend going with Bliss Construction for any of your construction projects. You wonâ t be disappointed."

"Chris and his team were an absolute god send! We had waited 4 weeks for a different fabricator to install our countertops. The install day came, and the other company tried to put a seam over the dishwasher. Needless to say, we cancelled. Angie's had Chris as a contractor, so we took a chance. Chris was so extremely responsive. He let us know where to go to pick out our countertops, the same day we called. He received the countertop and had it installed in our home within a few days! I am so happy we found him. Not only was he responsive him and his team exceeded our expectations. I am so happy with his work we are having him come back to install our backsplash. I will sing his praises to anyone looking to have countertops fabricated and installed."

You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
