"I really appreciate the fast quote/estimate and the fact they're willing to start right away. They communicated with me and said it start date so I could keep my renters informed. They stuck to the timeline they presented at the time of the estimate, completing the project on time. They sent me pictures throughout the project showing the complete removal and installation of new materials."

"DS Sales Associates were great for our remodel needs. They have helped us with all aspects of the remodel for our kitchen and master bathroom remodel. They have been flexible to our needs and the staff/contractors associated with the job have been professional, friendly and there is no doubt that they are expert craftsman at their areas of responsibility. When they have been faced with something not expected they have adapted and met these challenges expertly and creatively effective to our liking. The timeline has been maintained and communication concerning what is happening next with the remodel has been excellent. Their showroom is well established and they were attentive and generous with us in the design and selection of materials for our project. Even down to the creature comforts and small details within our design they have had solutions and met our needs. We will be enjoying our beautiful remodel for many years and our children are excited for the new kitchen. It will certainly be the gathering place for our family as we grow through these years. Thank you DS Sales and your awesome staff!!!"

"These folks are real problem solvers. 130 year old house had lots of rot, dangerous front and back porches, holes that provided homes for birds, wasps and lord knows what else. Now people who walk by stop and gape at the house. It is gorgeous. And, no more water coming down the bedroom wall in a big storm. They did the bluestone patio in back, too."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
Tacoma Addition & Remodeling Contractors are rated 4.8 out of 5 based on 147 reviews of 147 pros.
