"Luis and his crew did a great job refinishing my basement. They replaced an old vinyl floor with porcelain tile; painted the entire basement; replaced closet doors; and performed other miscellaneous work. All the work was completed in a very neat, professional and timely fashion. Luis and his crew were also extremely responsive and to any and all questions I had. I would highly recommend Square Construction without hesitation."

"I hired Troy (TK Construction Services) for a day to sand and paint an outdoor iron fence and to repair a broken iron door under my stoop. Troy and another worker arrived promptly, brought all the necessary materials, worked diligently, and displayed expertise in their craft. The fence is now smooth and beautifully painted, and the door, post-welding, repairing hinges, and replacing the rusted part, functions and looks as good as new. They efficiently managed their time to complete all tasks within the scheduled day, without compromising the quality of work. They communicated well via text, kept on time and on budget and cleaned up beautifully. For anyone in need of high-standard, professional, and timely trades work, I would highly recommend TK Construction Services."

"After searching NYC for painters and getting the run around (missed appointments , don't return calls etc) Home Advisor set me up with several options the best of which was Nicko's Construction and I couldn't be happier. His estimate was thorough and delivered by someone (himself) with the knowledge of the work to be done . He was punctual , did exactly what he said he would do, finished when he said he would and had the best price. He is trustworthy and friendly ,I couldn't ask for anything better. I would definitely use him again and would recommend him ! the best price."

Painters usually price a job by the square feet of the project. Sometimes they’ll include flat fees for fixed expenses, like overhead and permits.
We make finding a painter easy. Simple use our directory to find a painter. Here you can browse local pros, check their reviews and do your first screening without ever having to call. We’ve also prescreened all the pros for you, to give you peace of mind.
Interior painting makes for a doable DIY project. You can save some money and get a real sense of accomplishment by doing this yourself. And, with the right prep work – covering, taping and scraping – it’s fairly forgiving. But it takes a lot of time to move furniture, tape trim, prep the surface and cover your floor, let alone apply the actual paint. Instead, save yourself the time and hassle and find a local interior painter.
Leave exterior painting to the pros. Not only do you need to worry about the type and quality of the paint, you’ll also likely need a ladder and considerably more prep work. You’ll likely need additional equipment like ladders, scaffolding and possibly a paint sprayer. It’s almost cheaper to just hire a pro. Talk to a local exterior house painter about your project.
