"It is imperative that everyone knows about Mathew and the kind, charming man he is. I got to know him because our boiler took its last breath on Monday December 2, 2019. My husband was looking to hire someone to replace our boiler he came across Mattie through HomeAdvisor, he accepted the call and asked me to speak to him. We instantly connected, exchanged a couple of laughs and asked if he could come to look at our boiler later that evening. Mattie was punctual, and did not charge to come all the way out to our home in valley stream, as others might do while making house calls. He does business the old-fashioned way! As soon as Mattie arrived that evening he was very professional and knew exactly what needed to be done. At that very moment, I had a gut feeling that if I chose Matt to replace my boiler it would be in great hands and that I had nothing to worry myself about. After our consultation was over on December 2nd I told Matt that I had other people coming in for quotes, and I would let him know what I was going to do and if I was going to hire him for the job. After meeting with all the people I did not feel comfortable or satisfied with any of them as I did with Mathew. On Wednesday, December 4, 2019, I called Matt and finalized all the details and decided to hire him to replace my boiler and water heater. Let me tell you... I did not think I would have a working boiler and water heater as quick as I did, we have like 9 family members living in this house, which does not have proper insulation and the windows are a bit old as well. So it was pretty cold to say the least. Ages ranging from 1 1/2 year old to a 75-year-old. We had to be bundled to the max, as the weather for this week was in the low 30s. I wanted that boiler fixed like yesterday and that is exactly what Matt delivered. Friday, December 6, 2019 6:45 a.m. sharp Matt and his crew were outside my home. His team worked like a well oiled machine and before I could say **Bada Bing Bada Boom** I had a beautiful boiler and a hot water heater installed. I cannot praise enough the efficiency of his team. Since we clicked so well it was only natural that I take my chance and ask him to fix something extra! But to my delightful surprise, he went above and beyond my expectations... money very well spent. He changed the majority of my radiator valves in my home without any charges and, let me tell you, it made all the difference. We used to have to put the heat to 77 to get decent heat on the second floor but now we do not need to go above 72. Not to mention one of the bedrooms did not even get heat previous to Matt fixing the valves. One other **on the house** jobs he did for me before he left was relocating the thermostat which also made all the difference as the previous boiler guy I had work done by screwed it up and set it up in the absolute wrong place. I know I probably should not have mention all these things he did for me because, but he just is a stand up guy and I feel obliged to as it shows the absolute sweetheart and kind-hearted human he is. It is hard to find people where its not all about the money but rather the quality of relationships we make when we meet one another. Integrity is choosing your thoughts and actions based on values rather than personal gain. It is safe to say I highly recommend Matt and his crew from On Time Piping and Heating LTD. You will not be disappointed. P.S. I waited to post the review because I wanted to see how smoothly the boiler was going to run. I know I wrote an essay but it is a well deserved review. Thank You!"

"Over the course of the 15 years that my wife and I have been living in our house located in central Queens weve worked with a lot of different contractors, some good, some very very bad. Thankfully, Square Construction and Design was an excellent choice. After interviewing and obtaining estimates from several different contractors we selected Square Construction to do a 5-week major renovation/remodel to the entire upstairs of our home this past summer 2015 (kitchen, living room, bedroom, office and bathroom) and couldnt be happier with the job that Luis and his guys did. They were just what we were looking for in a contractor: easy to talk to and willing to listen; capable of getting the job done in a professional manner the FIRST time; made excellent recommendations, several of which were implemented into the final design; willing to take care of the numerous small detail items that needed to be done around the house (what homeowner doesnt have a dozen of these hanging over his head at any given time); completely trustworthy with the keys to my house while I was away, sometimes days at a time, while keeping me up-to-date with the progress; and willing and able to adjust quickly both to changes and unforeseen additions that had to be made. All at what my wife and I feel was a reasonable price (especially given the other estimates that we had received). They stuck to the available timeline, which was limited, and to the original estimate, with a couple of completely reasonable, understandable and expected deviations. Theyre not the biggest outfit out there (yet), but on our mid-size but very involved project, they were the best choice. These guys have a ton of experience, theyll get the job done, and youll love the results. They even took care of a couple of cosmetic things that I hadnt even included in the project. Why? Because they take pride in what they do. I dont write a lot of reviews, about anything, but Im happy to write this for Luis and his guys they deserve the five-star rating Ive given them. Id be happy to work with them again, and Ive had no second-thoughts about handing out their business cards to our friends and neighbors who have seen their renovations and have asked for their contact info. "I usually don't write reviews but in this case, I had to make an exception. Luis was nothing but amazing. I wanted to install a washer dryer in my home and he was able to come to my house on a weekend and analyze how it would be installed. My main concern was the electric setup. I wanted to see if it was actually possible to install a washer dryer given the certain voltage it needs to work. He explained everything in detail and provided some suggestions of what he thought would be best. With me, its all about tone and Luis was nice of enough to go thru everything with us very thoroughly and he would make time that fit our busy schedule. His rates are amazing compared to others and is willing to work with you. I am glad he was the one I chose out of the others that reached out to me for this project and I would use him 10000% for all my electric needs and recommend him to others that are in need of electric assistance.
