Cabinets - Reface
"I was very pleased with Tri-State Cabinet Refacing. They were by far the best on price, with many features included that I would have had to pay extra for on our other bids. Andrew and his crew were prompt and professional and did great work, even helped us on aspects of the project we hadn't anticipated. One minor follow-up issue was handled speedily, and communication from all parties was great. We've had lots of compliments on our cabinets!"

Cabinet Refinishing
"GREAT JOB! My experience with NHance on my kitchen cabinet restoration was outstanding. My cabinets had accumulated some obvious signs of surface wear and dirt accumulation over the years (including some water damage in the sink area) and were really in need of a refresh. From the beginning, Ken Mullen took the time to explain all my options and provide pricing for each choice. I wanted to maintain the light, smooth natural wood grain look of the original custom maple cabinets, so I chose the renewal option. The team that was sent out to perform the work was very friendly, professional and skilled. The project was completed on-time, on-budget and with outstanding results that exceeded my expectations. They look like new cabinets! I would hire NHance again without hesitation. Thanks guys, well done!"

"This crew is incredible! Mike is extremely hard working, very competitive prices, and he has an excellent crew. Donald works with him and does excellent work and even helped me with a few other things while someone on the crew went to Home Depot for extra parts. I hired them for one small job but mentioned that I was getting quotes from other plumbers on some other work. They did ALL of the work and I saved over $10,000 from the quotes from other plumbers."

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
