Reviews
Write a ReviewI had a park bench refinished and I was very happy with the work when I got it back. In fact, I live in a small condo community and have the bench outside. i have receive nothing but compliments on the work and would recomend this company to anyone
The refinishing of our table was transformative. It hasn’t looked this good since it was new some 30 years ago.
I had my 30 year old natural oak desktop refiinished. It was brought back to its virtually orignal state. Outstanding work. Highly recommended.
The service went poorly in several areas. He failed to meet the terms of the contract, had several communication issues, and has stated that if we "would like to handle this [claim] with [him], you will have to cancel your claim with Angi's". According to the contract, all surfaces were to be sanded to 120 grit and either painted or finished, to match the existing design (e.g. sand and repaint painted areas; refinish wood areas). By text, he also specified the following when I questioned the feasibility of getting a good end product: "What we do is take apart the chairs and remove the painted pieces and we sand them down to the bare wood and re prime and re paint everything as if it were a fresh piece of furniture. This way you get a brand new durable finish. So the results for the painted parts will come out essentially brand new." He quoted 2-3 weeks to complete the furniture, though it wasn't specified in the contract. In reality he took slightly over 5 weeks, including a delay to allow more time for the paint to dry and a delay due to a flat tire. I checked on the state of the table after 9 days, at which point he said that "the furniture is good. I'm still working on getting everything sanded down right now." Three weeks into the project, he said that "I've got your furniture finished and curing." Three days later he said that the furniture hadn't cured and that he needed more time. When the furniture was dropped off, he surprised us with several issues that ran counter to our contract: - He said that our table (made in California in the 1990s) had lead paint but that he'd painted over it so that it was covered. We checked after drop off and confirmed that painting over is not an effective mitigation strategy. We were not notified of this in advance, and he could not produce a record of the test result. - He did not take the furniture apart, which he sited as the reason for messy paint finishing. - He did not sand the painted areas, sitting lead paint. This resulted in bumps and chips. - He added very rough paint to portions of the underside of the table, which we did not approve. - He didn't re-paint the leaves of the table. Since submitting our claim to him, in compliance with the terms of the contract, he has refused to provide a refund and made character claims about us. We have documented all communications and the table, which have remained in storage. We have also since confirmed by our own test, that the table does not have lead paint.
Service was above and beyond my expectations.
Josh and Iris were great. Very professional and careful with the items. They explained everything before they started. The price was fair and transparent.
Quick response, fast service and quality work.
The owner handled everything himself and was great. Only uses natural products which I appreciate. Tables look great. Highly recommended.
He instead of fixing the problem, he put a white patch on the table and instead of finishing, while he had promised from the beginning many times that the table would be restored to its initial condition, before it was burnt.
We were very thankful and appreciative of the job that was completed as it was a unique project. Project was delivered on time and as designed.
