Write a ReviewWhen Thomas Roberts came, I was impressed with everything he said and signed up for Redo to remodel my kitchen. Unfortunately, almost nothing he promised was true. My project started on 9/29 and wasn?t finished until 11/20?I was without a kitchen for 52 days. The first installer did incredibly sloppy work, and their ?solution? was to cover mistakes with trim pieces. They even put the cabinet doors on upside down. Eventually, they had to redo all the cabinet doors and make multiple trips. It was obvious they had no idea what they were doing. They installed a defective faucet from some off-brand and left me with a leak for 4 weeks. When I called after two weeks of hearing nothing, Ashley told me, ?I have no idea what faucet you have.? The work was bad. The customer service was even worse. This was a nightmare from start to finish, and every time I look at my kitchen, I regret using Redo. Do yourself a favor?stay far away from this company.
We went and visited their showroom in Saint Charles. They had something called perfect pairings, which helped us inevitably decide which cabinets and countertop to do at our home. We have in downtown Saint Charles in an older bungalow. Updating our kitchen with new cabinet fronts gave our whole first floor a new, updated look. It is still craftsman, which we love, but it is so much brighter and open feeling.
The entire process was smooth and efficient . We wanted to have our kitchen remodeled , our house was built in 2004 and the cabinets were outdated . My husband and I never felt pressured during the sales process and the salesmen was accurate with his quotes on price and timeline . Our installer Andy did a fantastic job . The room was contained and very little mess was made . The job was completed in 4 days . I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a kitchen facelift , we have received so many compliments .
I would NOT recommend at all, especially for the amount of money charged, the disruption it caused with me and my husband’s work schedule, the length of time it took to finally get the project complete. A project like this is suppose to get you happy and excited to see the finishing project. I feel like we waited so long to redo our kitchen and it was ruined by this experience & taken for our $$$. This caused nothing but stress, headaches and lots of wasted time on the phone going back and forth, still with unresolved issues and no callback. I was told the whole project would take 5 days,(Cabinets & countertops). It took over a month, they had to come back several times due to the sloppy work, (even the 2nd installer made comments and shook his head, in disbelief -in how things looked), measurements were not correct, drawers were not aligned and put back properly, then they had to cut my drawers, making smaller in size to fit and look half way decent, excessive amounts of glue left, missing parts, mistakes by the installers, equipment left behind. I was also under the assumption workers were employees not 3rd party contractors, which was sent! Due to so many set backs, it was finally done days before Thanksgiving, therefore unable to host last minute- due to all the repeated deep cleaning needed from all the sawdust. We also were asked for payment way before the project was done. The ladies in the office were always nice, the sales guy was nice, but the production team/supervisors or bosses do not respond & after all the mishaps the installers attitude & energy changed. I will say our kitchen looks better than it did, but expected more for what we paid.
The installers were very nice but the project was riddled with issues. They didn't bring enough handles, a cabinet door was missing, the lazy susan dragged, the cabinet doors didn't close because they were sized wrong and the drawers weren't aligned because of the wrong measurements. The corrections came after the holiday was over. They asked for payment before they completed the project and were very rude with the comment "everybody makes mistakes". Customer satisfaction not a goal. I'm just glad to have them in the rearview mirror, at least the cabinets look nice but I wish I had picked someone else to spend so much money with.
It was not was I was expecting. I expected a lot better service from the company after spending so much money. The workers were great but I wouldn't say the same about the salesmen. Nice guys but felt like I was at a car dealership. Pressure to commit if you wanted the savings. Have not heard from anyone after completion to ask if I was a satisfied customer. Would not recommend.
We met with Thomas Roberts to discuss and price our cabinet refacing project. He provided us with details on their products and company that impressed us. He brought samples of the cabinets and hardware so that we could make an educated selection for our project. The samples were of excellent quality and we were pleased with the estimate that he provided. We paid a little more than we initially decided to spend but that is fine as we know that we will be receiving an excellent quality product for the price. Thomas was easy to deal with and did not use any high pressure sales tactics - he supplied us with the facts and let us discuss and make our own decisions on how to proceed with our project. Update as of 3/25/2024 Previously I reviewed this company's sales process and now that the cabinet doors/drawer fronts have been installed I want to add a review on the installation process. Our installer was Collin Brown and he was fantastic. He covered our floors with tarps and when finished he vacuumed all of the areas that he worked in and cleaned up the full work area. He completed the installation in a professional manner and consulted with us when needed. He completed a QC check on the doors/drawer fronts when finished and advised us that if there were any issues with the product Redo would handle replacement ASAP. We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a quality product and professional installation.
Last night we hired Redo Cabinets to do a kitchen remodel. We chose them because of their excellent reviews and ratings from Google, Home Advisor and Better Business Bureau. We were very happy with the professionalism of their sales team and the thoroughness of their presentation. We look forward to the project starting in late July and we will post another review after they complete the installation. We are confident that it will go well because of the excellent follow up already received 12 hours later from Alex in their production department. Thanks to Brad, Thomas and to Chris for walking us through the front end of this process.
Quality work from this contractor. We looked at previous customer reviews when looking for who to work with for our siding replacement, and are happy to say that they lived up to the positive ratings for our project.
