In August 2025 I called Angie to get a roofing contractor to repair my porch roof. I spoke to Prathiba and she gave me a few contractors. I called Grendi and I spoke to Mike and I told him exactly what i needed to get done and I made an appointment and Chris and a guy came and looked at the roof and gave me a price of what it would cost to repair the porch roof. I told Chris I will contact him when I am ready. Two months later I called back Grendi and spoke to Mike and I asked him how much it would cost to put tarp on the porch roof and he told me $500, $250 for the tarp and $250 for the deposit to complete the job. Mike and a guy came to my house and put the tarp on the roof. The guy did not speak English, so i could not communicate with him. He kept talking to Mike in a different language. Then Mike told me that the price that Chris gave me is only to put rubber on the roof and nothing else. About a week or two after he put the tarp on it was very windy and some of the tarp blew off. I spoke to a manager from Grendi twice the same day and he gave me a different name, so I am not sure what his name is. He told me that he asked the guy that put the tarp on the roof why he did not nail it down and he told him that the boards were too rotten and i told him that i need a refund and he said no. I think that's what the guy was telling Mike and he did not want me to know because he wanted to rip me off. I will never do business with them again. They are not transparent.
