TLC Paving and Sealcoating LLC

Amazing job.

A sleight of hand rebranding of his businesses original name TLC sealcoating and paving is now TLC paving and sealcoating. His current status with Angi/Home Advisor is "Not Angi certified" This is a deceitful and deceptive business coaxing and manipulating 5 star reviews, Tom has cheated me out of $1400. and left me with a cosmetic illusion of a sealcoating job. It's too late for me to pursue legal action, but I will continue monitoring this company to warn others of this scam. See another review on Angi dated 6/16/21. Working with Tom was a pleasant experience.

Tom responded quickly to my request for an estimate and showed up when he said he would. I asked him if he could patch a few spots which he did. Did an excellent job sealing Mt driveway. Very reasonably priced.

Mr. Cooper was very courteous and did a great job.

Update: This is a follow up of my original review. One week after the cosmetic illusion of a sealcoat job performed on my driveway there is grass growing through cracks that were never filled in, ant holes have already appeared. I received a call from Thomas Cooper accosting me and calling me a liar. TLC paving and sealcoating appears to be a troubled, distressed company best avoided. I followed up with Angi's complaint department, they contacted Mr. Cooper but he never returned their call/email. Angi's screening process is as secure as it could be but even with the best systems some will slip through the cracks. I thank Angi for their assistance in this matter and will continue to go through Angi for future projects I've had previous seal coating jobs performed. All were well done. Taking inflation into consideration I agreed to $1,400 (down from $1,700) This was $200. more then I paid before. He shows up about 8:45, knocking on my door asking for money up front ( I told him I would not do that) He returns, spends most of the time sitting in his truck waiting for the sealcoat material to heat up. Not to go into too much more detail this was the quickest, sloppiest job I ever had done. The only way to fix this is to do the whole job over and I'm sure he will not do that. The reason I didn't give 1 star is that I have to see how long it lasts. I don't expect it will last 1 year let alone 3
