Reviews
Write a ReviewWestern Roots Masonry and Construction was the only Angie contractor that showed up on time to give me a bid. After the job they are now the only ones I will call for masonry work at my house and I have 2 or three more jobs pending..
Rick was capable and honest (he explained that what I thought needed replacing, was actually in decent shape). Then he replaced the part that actually needed attention.
Very professional, prompt and reasonably priced. We'd hire Rick again.
The chimney looks like new! I am confident in the work quality.
I had a 70 year old retaining wall next to the sidewalk that was failing - large cracks, leaning out. A serious hazard and potential liability. Previous owners planted large shrubs next to the wall, making things worse. Most of the professionals I talked to wanted "repair" this wall. Ricky Lemon said it would be a lot of work, and expensive, but he agreed with me that the wall had to go. He and his small crew tore out the wall and the shrubs, hauled off the debris, and installed French drains and a terraced block wall that looks great in about two weeks of really hard work. Mr Lemon and his crew were respectful, pleasant to interact with, always willing to explain what they were doing, considerate of me and my neighbors, and really a delight to have working on my property. The work was top notch. The crew worked hard in hot weather - and I like this about Ricky Lemon - he provided cold drinks for his crew, insisted that they take breaks, and did not work during the two hottest days (so far) in July. In the end, he added railings on both sides of the two flights of steps up to my front door. Since I am as old as that wall was, I am really grateful that he did the extra work to find good-looking, sturdy, safe railings for me. The whole thing looks great now - I need to plant some flowers in the terraces, but it is too hot for that just now. If you hire Ricky Lemon, you will get someone who is a really good worker, who produces a great result - someone who knows what he is doing and does it really, really well.
Did a good job and came back two weeks later to finish the job. Weather kept him from finishing initially.
He was great, super satisfied, Im assuming 5 was the best because thats what I meant
Rick is the ultimate worker. He was always here on time and he did exactly what he said he would do. His quality of work is remarkable. Hire him and enjoy the result of his work.
Rick was great to work with! He showed up on time, was Very respectful and flexible in working within my budget. He is truly a Craftsman! I have already recommended him to a neighbor...He was a pleasure to work with!
Rick was great, not only was he very prompt, clear about what was going on and professional, he followed up the next day (after completing the job) to make a change we both missed in the original plan. I'll recommend him to everyone who asks.
