Wafi is amazing! He is extremely knowledgeable about a wide variety of home repair, and other servicing needs, and has been specifically knowledgeable in the care of our renovated 1850s brownstone. He has fixed our multi level air conditioning system, performed a large chandelier installation, and other structural/electrical tasks, and done multiple plumbing jobs with great expertise. He is also extremely kind and reliable, and I would interest him with anything in my home!

I would never recommend this guy. Be very careful if he quotes you a lower price than others. After my project started, he claimed that certain services were not included, even though I had clearly stated them in my project description and told him on the spot. He said he had not seen the description. As a result, I ended up paying a much higher price to get the work done. When I found someone else to take over the project and tried to stop him and just pay for what he had done, he refused to stop. Worse, after I paid him, he did not give me an invoice and disappeared with the excuse that he had to get his cell phone out of his car, never to return. The trash from his work is still in my house. My experience with him was truly a nightmare. NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!

I misunderstood that this contract was though Home Advisor after receiving the handyman information from Angi, not a direct contract with the handyman. Our project was simple, drilling 4 holes on the granite column, put the glue in those holes to install a 17x10 bronze plaque on the granite column. I sent out the detail work with the pictures of the granite monument and the bronze plaque. He would bring a drill and we would bring the glue and robe to tie. The handy man requested $180 for the first 2 hours of minimum work. I told him we used to pay $50 to $60. He said he needed more money when being on the site because he said he would work harder. He may not have the right tool. I already sent him the pictures. Why didn't he know what he would work on? During the time performing the work, we experienced that the handyman did not have a good work ethic. He kept refusing the instructions we gave to him for a success installation based on our experience doing a larger plaque on the other side of the monument. He finally followed the instructions. He took about 30-35 minutes to finish this job. He asked for $200 in cash for the reason that the work was harder. We paid him a check. After finishing, I took the pictures and just realize that the plaque is not quite balance on the granite column. I sent to the other people and they noticed it. We will receive this type of comment forever since the hundred people visit this monument every week. We recommend everyone to go through Home Advisor/Angi on any project.
