He installed a furnace, central air unit and duct work. I previously had oil with hot water baseboard heat. He did a great job and has a great price. I know the job was big but most places were quoting around or over $13,000, and he was cheaper. He was always on time, courteous, cleaned up after himself every day and did the job within a few days. I would highly recommend him!

After dealing with a large Capital Region company for 20 years; I am glad I made the switch to Veritas Heating and Cooling! I wanted to replace my aging Central A/C unit and furnace BEFORE unexpected major problems/expenses arose that would put me in a position where I would need to --rush-- into getting estimates/new equipment installed. I found Veritas Heating and Cooling through careful research on HomeAdvisor and Angies List. What finally convinced me to get an estimate from Veritas was a neighborhood recommendation I received while asking for an HVAC company referral through the -NextDoor- neighborhood social media website. I contacted several area companies and received estimates, but after meeting Adam I was convinced his company was the one I would go with. Adam is very professional and honest. He did not try to --upsell-- me with features and equipment that I did not need. He asked me key questions and recommended the Heil equipment level I needed based on my answers. Adam is a competent, experienced craftsman, and his prices are fair. His competency and experience were evident throughout the installation and equipment start up process. Adam was very efficient and he has an excellent work ethic. Adam was willing to work with me with the installation time frame as I was not ready to install for 4 months after signing my contract. Adam --locked in-- my pricing with a 50% deposit, and performed my installation as per my schedule (there was a 10% price hike coming at the beginning of 2019). Veritas Heating and Cooling is now my go-to HVAC Company! I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

The owner came out at 10:00pm to my house because I had no heat. He diagnosed the problem but could not fix it that night. He did get the water to circulate to try to keep it from freezing. The next day he found the unique part we needed at his distributor and by noon got my heat running. This company is honest caring and gives old fashion service. He saved me hundreds in repair bills for broken pipes.

We started out last year with a plumbing and heating problem in a poorly constructed bathroom where there wasn't enough heat to keep the pipes from freezing and breaking. We thought we wanted radiant heat for the corrective construction, but after Adam came and looked at the house and the repair job, he really didn't think it was the correct solution. He actually helped us find a contractor who was willing to work with us on the more extensive repairs we needed for the house repair, and Adam helped find a workable and cost-effective heating solution for the house. Adam was very patient and helped us determine the best heating solution for our century-old home. We discussed all the options and then determined to replace the old furnace. Then we also had to add some heat runs to a remodeled area of the house, and he did that work too! His price on the furnace install came in much lower than other quotes we had received the previous two years, and we were able to add central air to the house as well. After the construction was underway on the remodel, he came and helped us balance the air flow in the house so that all the rooms on both floors could be more comfortable and evenly heated. We are very satisfied with the work completed. He is quick to return a message or phone call. He shows up when he says he is going to and does excellent work. Adam is easy to talk to, and we never had any doubt that he was committed to giving us quality products and services. We definitely recommend him to others.

Adam was great to work with, small local businessman found by google search. Primary focus is long term customer relations so equipment estimate was appropriate for install -vs- upsell at every opportunity. Project was less expensive than most vendors in part for not selling name brand highly advertised company logos. My equipment was a HEIL AC unit - my existing unit was 2 years beyond life expectancy when I moved into my home and it lasted for 6 more years prior to replacement so I have no concerns over reliability. Request estimates, *a lot of them* for comparison - encountered many silly problems with many companies. One sales person arrived 30 minutes late for an appointment. Another was offended by having to compete with other vendors. One estimate arrived in the mail two weeks after asserting "ready that afternoon" citing price but no equipment detail. "construction included" - some estimators are cavalier about finding work. Yes I am already aware of those issues -- repeating several times *WE* will do work in *YOUR* home followed by making those items a required dependency for the project, thank you for playing but no. All of these items can be worked on separately, there is no need to work on/bill for three major projects in one sitting. One for ex, if a homeowner is replacing plumbing pipes and will later install a humidifier there is no need for your installation to include the cost of labor for "plumbing installation". I encountered none of this nonsense working with Veritas. No high pressure sales or badgering about the sale, determine what was needed and schedule an install if you plan to hire them. Adam has experience as both a service technician and later on as a project mgr and lead for planning and larger installations. This background knowledge is essential for creating an accurate estimation, if equipment size, fans, etc are not properly matched to the HVAC ducting there will be problems with equipment freezing or being inadequate. This is one area where "bigger is always better" will not be a good answer. Also one suggestion, research equipment vendors beyond the company website. Nothing instills confidence in "we stand behind our products" quite like reading details of a class action lawsuit brought against a well known vendor for unreliable equipment. The company in question did provide replacement parts free of charge for defective elements but left customers with $1000.00+ service call/labor bill for a tech to diagnose and replace the parts. I have no concerns about vendors or long their long term equipment support for the units suggested and installed. In summary I would have no concerns recommending Veritas based on my experience and their service to date.

Adam did a great job installing a "split" air conditioning system in our small home. He listened carefully to our needs and came up with the best solution possible for us. The cost was quite reasonable and he has returned a few times to address some small issues free of charge that had nothing to do with the quality of his work. At least two of the visits had to do with our own "mistakes". He also returns once a year to provide manufacturer recommended maintenance for a small fee. He has given us sage advice to ensure we do all we can to keep the system running as efficiently as possible, and he is always friendly and courteous. We are very happy with his service and the product he provided us. We highly recommend him to whomever we have a chance to discuss his service.
