Write a Reviewthey were 2 hrs late with no explanation the 1st time. They need to just verify with customers their confirmation process because they called me to say they were on their way but the number was blocked but they never left a VM. so they did the work but they quoted me 1200.00 to do a more thorough cleaning with a different machine and the brush etc which I agree is better- but not at that price. WE finally agreed on 630.00 but not sure if that was still over priced. The 2 guys did a great job and were professional but their cologne was so overwhelming we had to open all the windows and it gave my husband a headache.
Fast response, great customer service, ease of scheduling and was at my home the next day and the men that came out for service were professional, knowledgeable, friendly and thorough and completed the job in a timely manner. Very happy customer!!
I hired United Home Services based on the reviews on their website (mistake #1) and their low pricing (mistake #2). I was initially quoted $129, then $99 a few days later over text. However, when the technician arrived, who barely spoke any English, it became nearly impossible to understand the upsell options being presented to me. It was a classic bait and switch tactic. The price for a deep clean was suddenly $1150. When I declined, he quoted $500. How can anyone know what a fair price is when they can arbitrarily discount by 50%? Overall, the work was shoddy. They left all my vents closed after service. Mind you, it was 20 degrees out ? this left the house cold and forced the furnace to work harder than needed. My intuition is this was done out of spite since I only opted for the duct cleaning that was quoted at $99. Absolute garbage of a service and a terrible company. Look elsewhere. Shame on Angi for allowing United Home Services as an approved vendor.
Very friendly and professional. Reasonable price. I chose the deep clean for the extra money, which i found comparable to other providers. There is a noticeable difference in dust levels. Very happy with this service.
Quoted me $149 or $249 on the phone and I informed them my ducts were dirty and needed clean . The people that showed up were LM Air Quality not United Home services. They up sold me to $1044 and that included a senior and military discount ($150). First issue I had informed the 3 man crew that my hardwood floors were recently refinished and within 30 minutes I am having to stop their youngest member from dragging my dining table across my floor. 2nd issue My ducts are super noisy now from them shoving a shopvac hose down them. Now every time my heat kicks on I hear clanking metal from the expansion and conratravtion of the ducts. 3rd issue, which I did not discover til after they were done, my roommate left because dust and dust bunnies were coming out his vent in the basement. 4th issue was also not discovered til after, my return vent cover has a slight crease in it from over tightening with an cordless impact driver. I?ve received 3 more quotes since with highest being $600 for the same service. Last thing I am not prejudice I love and respect all, but when I have foreigners speaking a different language in my home I feel it disrespectful. Like what are you saying to them that you could say in English?
Gas fireplace would not light. I suspected the switch was bad and it turned out the technician confirmed that. However, he wanted to sell me a $750 remote starter. He said that the wiring and/or the switch could be bad, but he flat out refused to test both to see which was causing the issues, saying that they don't do that and prefer to just install the remote control and bypass the wiring and the switch. The remote starters can be purchased online for 40-100 bucks.
Quick and easy!
Eli did an excellent job! There's no more smoke and everything works like new again.
Although scheduling was a bit complicated as we had to be rescheduled three times, once the tech showed up he did a great job, was efficient and considerate. Very kind and informative.
They did a good job.
