I am totally dissatisfied with the job done for me by Stan Frye of Tuscan Decorative Stone Inc. I needed to have my basement concrete floors refinished, sealed, and colored using an acid etching method. I also needed to have the joints between the floor and the basement walls repaired. The original time estimate for the entire job was 5 work days. It turned out to be over two weeks. The cost estimate was exceeded by $300 due to the fact that he had rented the wrong equipment in the first attempt and had to take it back and rent different tools. He used my brooms, scraper, and shop vacuum. The finished product was terrible. When my household contractor saw the finished floors, he remarked that it looked like I had a bunch of untrained teenagers doing the work. The entire house was filled with concrete dust from the grinding that he did. I cleaned all of the upstairs areas myself but expected him to at least wipe down the walls and floors in the basement after he was done, but he didnt does any cleanup of any kind. My wife and I had to spend a full day cleaning up the mess that he left in my basement after he was done. If it were not for the fact that I still had other work that must get done in my basement to finish the repairs from hurricane Florence, I would not have paid him the final payment and would have sued him for the deposits I had already given him. However, I would have had to leave everything the way it was when he finished in order to do that and I simply had to get my regular contractor into the basement to finish the rest of the work. The finished product looks terrible and looks nothing whatsoever like the many photos of his previous work that he showed me as examples of what I could expect my finished floors to look like. I would never recommend Stan Frye or his company, Tuscan Decorative Stone, to anyone who is having concrete work done at their home. The man doesn't even have his own tools and equipment, his time and cost estimates are not accurate, and I found him to be unreliable and bordering on being dishonest.

A great experience from start to finish- Stan and his employees did an awesome job on our pool, driveway and porch project- I already have had numerous calls asking who was responsible for the beautiful job. Would definitely recommend them. Very professional-we are so pleased!
