Reviews
Write a ReviewThey were very efficient and knew their stuff.
They were very thorough
Both Ed and David were knowledgeable, professional and courteous. They arrived on time and stayed until the project was completed. They were thorough and careful with the new kitchen appliances they were installing. They worked to accomodate my schedule. I would recommend them for any project, large or small. I plan to have them back in the near future for another project.
Very knowledgeable. Seems to have a lot of experience in what he does. I would highly recommend this company to repair a furnace.
good explanation of problem and work being done
Chris was patient with me in explaining the situation. He explained everything before he did it , found another issue and was able to take care of all my needs in one day. He was very knowlegdeable
I called the Pipe Doctor to have my gas boiler cleaned. Definitely will NOT recommend this company. 1) NOT PROFESSIONAL. The plumber was late by one hour and did not have a brush to do the job. We had to reschedule. The second time he was almost two hours late. No call, no apology. I bet the other way around if I am late they would charge me. 2) IGNORANT. Despite 30+ years in the business he never cleaned the gas boiler heat exchanger before (his words). Really?! This is a maintenance requirement. Read the manual! I only guess that other customers get half job for the full price. 3) NOT PREPARED. It was a boiler cleaning job. The first time he did not have a brush, second time vacuum cleaner did not work. He spent 15 minutes to fix it, then he plugged a hose to the wrong side and blew dust all over the basement. 'Ohhh. That was probably asbestos. Do not worry. We all die at some point. Ha-ha-ha.' I loved his joke. Funny guy. 4) OVERPRICED. It was $289 for 50 minutes minus time he struggled with a vacuum cleaner. Be aware they have $89 fee added to every quote, $200 per hour rate and they round it up to the next hour. 5) NOT WELL RUN BUSINESS. It took me 3 weeks and multiple calls to the office to finally get the invoice. Bottom line. If you want the job done right and you do not want to take a chance look around choose large well-established company it will cost you no more than The Pipe Doctor if you want to save money hire an independent plumber or handyman it will be cheaper and still may be done better.
Prompt arrived on time, checked my heating system at the furnace and throughout the house!! I have nothing but praise for the "Pipe Doctor", am considering to use this company in the future!!
The communication was great and they were able to repair on schedule
