Having our crawlspace encapsulated was one of the most seamless processes I’ve been through. Everyone was super professional and helpful throughout the entire process. Harlan Moore did a wonderful job explaining not only how the team would encapsulate our crawlspace, but how they would do it as well. He efficiently explained all the payment options and ensured we selected the one that best fit our needs. Corey Church and his team (Tyrese Ware, Devon Plater and Gavin Grigsby) were the best. They kept me updated on the process from start to finish and I was confident I was in good hands. They found our resident black snake in the crawlspace and Corey came to the door to ask what I wanted him to do with her - and wouldn’t even show her to me until he was certain I was okay with putting eyes on her. From start to finish, everything went great. Jay was thorough and answered ALL of our questions. He even reviewed the competition's proposal! The communication was fantastic every step of the way. The installation was a complicated one being that we have a 100+ year old farmhouse. Tyrese and Stephen had quite the challenge! They did a phenomenal job and really went above and beyond. They worked so hard and did an excellent job of explaining things. Five stars all day

Each crew member, Ken, Stephen and Jael were excellent workers. They worked together well and fulfilled their tasks individually with skill. They kept us up to date regularly and completed the work on time even with an unexpected plumbing repair added in.

Highly recommend Tar Heel Basement Systems - We were lucky to find them to do our crawl space repair. Edward Greene, Micah Miller, & Tim Everhart from the Winston Salem NC location did an amazing job on our crawl space. These folks are the kind of contractors that one dreams of finding! I wish I had another crawl space for them to do. These gentlemen were extremely knowledgeable of the task at hand and made sure everything was completed to perfection. They went over and above on every task performed. If I could rate them a 10 that’d really describe the quality of their work.

My installers did an amazing job. They were punctual, neat, organized, and didn?t leave until every last detail was finished. Their names were Ken, Stephen, David K and Dalton. I am so pleased with my new basement system!

I was extremely satisfied with the professionalism and hard work that Adam Canter (lead), Tim Witherspoon and Ryan Oldman displayed. They worked well together to complete the job on time and above expectations. I was impressed with the systems but even more impressed with the way it was installed, the efforts to control the dust and the cleanup that occurred throughout the job. I would suggest you ask for this crew by name. I had the work quoted by others but there was no warranty included. I think the extra money spent was well worth the quality, warranty and included follow-up inspections. The lifting peer systems installed closed the cracks in the brick veneer on the length of 3 sides of the house as planned. I observed the installation of the wall braces and could see the immediate reduction in bowing of wall. Very happy with results.

Results of the floor stabilization were communicated to me clearly before, during and after the work was performed. All my expectations were at least met. The specific project is floor stabilization with minor lift but that isn't an option so i picked encapsulation instead (which K do intend to gave Tar Heel do, down the line). This was a good company for a long time. I purchased a dry zone system from them for my crawl space and the installation was very well done. However, since they were purchased by Groundworks, their processes have declined in effectiveness. I recently had a maintenance visit for my system, during which a simple electrical problem was identified. The tech was not qualified to fully diagnose or fix the problem, and it has been a month without any progress or response from their service or production departments. I've had to call four times, spending 15-30 minutes on the phone each time, and still don't have an appointment for the repair to be completed. It's a shame to see a good company fall this far.
