We found Paul and Gene at Tanem construction through Homeadvisor 4 years ago and have had a project with them every year since. From finishing our basement during Covid, adding a full bathroom wet bar and laundry room, to restoring and building our front stoop to adding heated floor and a 2nd floor full bathroom restoration, to even the smallest of jobs in roof repairs and ceiling leaks. Tanem construction does it ALL. A pleasure to work with. A local family run business that will sure to fulfill all your construction needs.

Every year Tanem Construction completes a project on our 100-year-old center colonial home. Weâ ve come up with creative solutions to make the current footprint of our home more useful. Adding walls, removing walls, removing radiators, adding and updating bathrooms, adding storage, a laundry room, and a wet bar with entertainment area when including our basement as part of our living space. On the outside, they did our stoop and fixed flashing on our roof in areas that caused leaks. As a woman with young children, I feel comfortable with them working in my home. Paul, Gene, and the team are pleasant and create a safe working environment!

Relaxing experience overall. Amazed by the attentiveness of the team and certainly will use again! Kept track of all expenses. Each time there was a hiccup,, Paul and team made it right!

From start to finish, Tanem did an amazing job. The project was large enough to take a few months. Communication and planning was on point throughout. Very fair price. Paul is/was always available for discussions and ideas. His team was very professional and also answered all questions that came up. The bottom line is that we feel lucky that we crossed paths with Tanem, felt very taken care of, and the work looks incredible. We plan on doing a lot more remodeling with Paul and his company in the future.

Communication with Paul was easy. He is on the job site and very active in all phases of the project. It was a bigger than expected project, I am happy that I worked with this company.

Stay far away from them. They do patchy work and do not take responsibility for their mess-ups. We paid over $150k and mistakes are starting to show. Regret my decision in hiring them.
