Contacted thru Angis List. Lorin contacted me immediately and made an appointment to evaluate my 30 year old roof that same day. Lorin was a very personable & trustworthy young man and I immediately felt very comfortable with him as this was something I had never done before. Had several bids to check and decided to go with Tru-North as I felt the estimate was good and they offered financing and 5 year warranty also. The crew showed up as scheduled and were very professional. Old roof removed and hauled away, All dry rot and repairs made and new roof replaced in 2 days !! I was totaly impressed . The crew cleaned and hauled away the area !! The crew even repaired my shed door (which was falling off the hinges). I was impressed with the quality of the work and professionalism of them all . I needed a STAT roof repair done in order to close on our house in time. I sent out an SOS and they responded and came that afternoon! Grateful for them!!!

Faced with an aging cedar shake roof, I had to deal with an HOA which required only cedar shake or tile roofs. My ceilings would not support conventional tiles, and I refused to put an unrated and unrecommended flammable roof on my house. After months of research, I found a 50 yr. guaranteed lighter weight tile from a highly regarded Canadian company. None of the roofers I contacted were interested in working with an unfamiliar material. Lorin, on the other hand, was enthused about the opportunity to try something new. It required an online training session and a fairly complicated process of ordering and receiving materials from another country another currency. Through the whole process, Lorin was upbeat and positive. And, I can't say enough about his crew who worked really hard in the most miserable of weather conditions. Thanks to Tru North I now have a Class A rated tile roof made of a composite material that looks like cedar shakes.

Lorin was amazing - prompt bid response with job completion one day after bid acceptance Did an absolutely beautiful repair job at a very reasonable price Lorin is a consummate professional and a great communicator- I highly recommend him.

They never completed the job. They tore off half the attic and it and insisted on twice the amount of the bid yet, they never rebuilt the attic. They created a flat roof on that side. They caused extensive damages to two bedrooms and a bathroom indoors, broke a window, never fulfilled the term of their contract to clean up their mess or remove the shrubs. They cut back. They never reinstalled the gutters instead of moving camera lines they cut them. This is the absolute worst contract Iâ ve ever worked with with Mylife. They contaminated the inside of the home they created a horrible mess , and they never even finished replacing the sheet rock on the ceilings that they damaged. I would absolutely never hire or recommend hiring, Lorin Lynch owner of Tru North again. They literally caused several thousands of dollars in damages that they never repaired as well as thousands in clean up to remove the filth and contamination they cause inside and around the home, just to remove the dust and clean up all the contaminants throughout the home that they never cleaned up and promised every single day that they would come back and clean up the following day, but never did.

Lorin was great. We had called other companies with no show. He was down the street & here in 5 minutes. Up on the roof & gave us several options . We settled on a quote & had the crew out the morning after we agreed upon. Very professional, prompt & kind. Highly recommend Tru North
