We are so happy we found TBC Decks! Phil the owner is phenomenal! He is so meticulous with his work and strives to get everything perfect! You can tell Phil loves what he does! The result was a deck that is truly is something that we are so proud of and know will last. Phil communicated so well with us throughout the project. Very professional. I interviewed 5 contractors and Phil really stood apart from the rest. He listened to my concerns and addressed each one. He is someone a homeowner can put their trust in. Our deck was completely in a very timely manner. The worksite was kept neat throughout the project. And the final price was right on the quoted price. AAA+++!!! We are 100% thrilled with the job Phil of TBC Decks did in building our deck. It was a larger size, second floor deck that was a new build on an existing home; so it was a larger, more involved job. Phil is the consummate professional, and it shows in the final product. Phil was helpful right from the outset in the design and in explaining options in materials. He arrives early, works industriously on a regular schedule, and leaves a tidy work site at the end of the day. The pace at which the job progresses and is finished is impressive! At the same time, he patiently answers all questions and willingly takes the time to thoroughly address any and all concerns; a real â straight shooterâ . We can wholeheartedly recommend TBC Decks without hesitation!

Phil had to take down our old deck and build a new one. He designed the deck for us. Within less than a full week, Phil had the old deck torn down and disposed of and built a new deck with two sets of stairs for us. He is polite, clean, friendly . His workmanship is beautiful. He is prompt and if he is going to be leaving early or coming in later, he tells you ahead of time. Once the job was over he cleaned up everything! It was a great experience having Phil work for us and if we can find more jobs for him we will certainly recommend him. .

Six out of five stars. When I first read some of these reviews I thought they were B.S., just some fly-by-night company that was boosting his rep with fake reviews. I took a chance and hired him and - Nope! Not fake reviews! This guy is every bit as good as they all say. We had three companies quote this job and he was the fastest to respond, communicated clearly, had the most well thought out design and just overall seemed more eager to get our business. TBC Decks is a one-man show, which I didn't realize till nearly a week into the project. When I found that out I was astounded at how much he was able to get done by himself. Phil is the chief cook and bottle washer, and he won't hire help because, in his words, 'I haven't found anyone that will match my work ethic'. The new deck is astoundingly beautiful, completed on time and on budget with minimal disturbances to the rest of my property. He made a lot of on-the-fly design changes that turned out to be good decisions.
