Sunset Roofing

Sunset replaced our roof in Churchville on Tues, June 7, and did a remarkable job with the project. They arrived around 7am and worked straight thru to around 1:30 to finish. Ours is not a huge house but the roof has some different angles and a valley. They replaced a plywood section that had split over the years and did a large nail-down improvement where we had pop--ups. They provided a much needed rain-guard for a section of gutter on the back that is impossible for us to reach. The site manager, Travis, was there early to get everything started and Ilar was present as the crew leader and was very helpful in keeping us up-to-date on their progress and findings along the way. Travis and Ilar and the roofing crew were great to work with through the whole project. It was an amazingly efficient and thorough effort, and their clean-up of the yard afterwards was amazing. They protected the house and plants with coverings and hauled everything away. Really appreciated Travis's guidance in the planning and completion of the project - good communications all the way. We highly recommend Travis, Ilar, and their team for your roofing project. Sunset has a great looking facility in Caledonia and their office staff was very helpful with paper-work and date-planning too. Great team performance by everyone, thanks very much!!

My husband and I are very pleased with Sunset Roofing. We had the first phone call answered right away and an estimate scheduled the following day. They told us that their lead time to have the roof and gutters done was about 5 weeks and we did have the roof and gutters done 5 weeks after we had the estimate. They were able to get the roof completely done within 1 day and the gutters within half a day. Very efficient, professional, clean and courteous! Roof and gutters look great and so far no leaks!

Over the past few years, our roof had been slowly showing wear and wind had cause a little damage each year to the point that over the past 4 ort 5 years several shingles had been replaced by ourselves. When we were looking for roofing contractors to replace the roof, this was the only Company that had us contact our insurance company to see if they would cover at least part of the damage that was cause by wind over the years. They even came out the day the insurance adjuster came to show him the damage he was seeing. This was also the only company that check the vents in the soffits to make sure that there was actual breathing space for venting and not just there for cosmetic purposes (covering up the previous wood soffit). I feel they went above and beyond what we expected out of a roofing company. Oh and by the way - their prices were very reasonable. Completely satisfied!

Very polite and hard working crew. Unbelievable amount of work completed in a day and a half. Great work also. Everything cleaned up not one nail in driveway. Had a concern about corner of fascia and soofit after they left. I called they came right out the next day and took care of it.

Roman and his team at Sunset have done several jobs on our roof, including a complete tear-off and re-roof. We are very pleased with all the work they have done, and have found the pricing to be very fair, but what keeps bringing us back to Sunset is Roman's helpfulness and responsiveness. He has never failed to help us out with any issue on our roof, no matter how small. Further, he responds sometimes immediately and comes out within a day. I've never worked with any kind of contractor who responds so promptly, with such courtesy, and with such follow through as Roman at Sunset does. We will be using Sunset again for any roofing needs we have. I would highly recommend Roman and his team at Sunset.

This is an EXCEPTIONAL roofing company ! They were professional, efficient and did a wonderful job following up on a problem. The quality of the work was outstanding ! I can't say enough positive comments about Sunset.

David was very punctual and returned our calls on a timely basis. His work crew was here as soon as he could break them free, hopefully fixing the leak that had developed in our roof.

Our patio roof was near collapsing. Sunset Roofing repaired the supports and roof and installed a new roof on the garage and patio as well as flashing around the fireplace roof. The workmanship was very high quality and the staff were very hard working.
